Baby steps

Hi ARVI lovers, have you noticed Arjun is taking baby steps to resolving his issue?

Jhanvi, If your damaad is taking a baby step, it is great! We all are here to encourage him. This week he should take some baby steps action wise. Or he is waiting for a big shake like MMS. I hope Punni does not give him a Zor ka Jhatka!!!! Punni may help ArVi by bringing their truth out, but I would like to see faltu lover doing it.

What I deduce from your post is that you have now got tired of lambasting Arjun with all the vehemence at your command for 3 weeks now, and as he does not seem to doing anything at all except saying 'Mujhe samajhne ki koshish karo, please!", alternating it with "Main sab theek kar doonga!" (one more time of hearing those lines and I shall go postal for sure), you are now getting desperate and have started clutching at straws. These are NOT straws in the wind either!

So do not delude yourself about any steps or leaps, baby or otherwise. He is still at the starting line.

Of course, Trish. I am all for positive thinking, but not to the extent of self-delusion.

Arjun seems to have forgotten all that made him such a successful businessman; surely that was not achieved by this kind of aimless drifting?

He is far too accommodating of Ovi's limpet-like activities. He is thus getting her more and more involved with and possessive of him, which means, as many have pointed out, that he will hurt her much more than if he had come clean right at the beginning.

The worst of all is that because he does not give the slightest indication, especially of late, that he is an unwilling fiance, and in fact these days he seems to be quite complacent about this status except when he is alone with Purvi, all the family members could be excused for assuming that he loves Ovi too.So, as and when he or someone else reveals the truth, he is really going to look like a prize jerk. Which he is not, being just a spineless fool, but who will believe that ?

What is the worst is that because of this protracted shilly-shallying, he is laying Purvi open to charges of being (a) a stealer of her 'sister''s fiance and (b) a golddigger, or both. No one will believe that it was Arjun who was chasing Purvi all along, and that he never cared for Ovi.

I hope Ovi does not return for atleast 2 weeks from Goa. 🤢

RD is going to South Africa for a few days in the coming week .. which means his baby steps will again be stalled for a few days. But not for too long though. Amen.

Friday when I was watching the online video, and when Ovi wanted to hear "I love you" from him, I was holding my breath, praying and hoping that he wouldn't say it out! Finally the guy did not say those word, but he did not only because Ovi gave that cue. He did bite the cue to his advantage and to our relief, but what if she had not given that cue? Though, we are rejoicing Arjun not saying those words, for Ovi, it did not make a bit of difference. She has still no clue that he does not love her and going about with her life as if there is nothing is wrong. For ArVi story, it is of no good.

As if that is not enough, she seems to have accepted the lecture Sulo gave her about making the loved one's be known of one's plans, there-by increasing the love further !!! 😲 Though he was surprised with her asking for permission so-to-speak, to go to Goa, I did not like the way he answered. It more looked like an answer coming from a broad-minded fiancee than from someone who doesn't love the girl and does not want to marry the girl. I don't know where all these are leading, but it could also be the beginning of a further more separation track between ArVi ..., which doesn't sit nice with me. He is getting more and more comfortable with her (Ovi) and leading her on more and more ... isn't giving any nice feeling...

...and forget him or anyone else finding out about Punni, it is not going to happen so soon, even if it does happen.

Dear Shyamala,

I have become delusional as you have so rightly deduced and am clutching at straws😭 Such is the fate of mothers of ladlis, we get reduced to Mrs. Bennets at some point or another, finding hope even when it is non-existent if the bachelor is eligible enough! Now Trish has to rub salt into my wounds and remind me of the few days in S. Africa!! He is never going to come clean at this rate!!😡

At least the hated ring is off his finger 👏 no mean feat that for one who emulates Hamlet. To tell or not to tell, to be engaged or not to be engaged, that is the question that plagues poor faltu, day in and day out! Answer, if Ovi asks him about the ring, will be another mumble, I am certain!!

Shyamala, look what you have done, I had gone from ranting to sending positive vibes of encouragement but now find myself in the dire depths of despair! My poor ladli is going to die a spinster waiting till eternity for Arjun to disclose the truth!😭
