Hi Everyone...am on lunch break...and I feel like analyzing and writing again...so here comes another long lecture 😆
I havent watched the episode...didnt watch yesterdays either. Probably not going to watch until things start looking positive again. I noticed the post about Arjun making plans for dinner with Ovi. Keep in mind guys that Arjun is still very much in love with Purvi...she is sacrificing...he is not. At least not of his own volition.
Hes already told his dad and he already tried to tell Ovi too in the office. Yes, she was hugging on him and interrupting him and everything but I think that he didnt say anything to her then because he knew Purvi was there and he just wanted her to leave. He wants desperately to talk to Purvi and clear things up. Contrary to what some may think, I dont think the dinner date is any romantic intention on Arjun's part. I think he is setting this up so he can talk to Ovi and tell her the truth. He respects her feelings and believes she will be shattered...so he wants to break up with her as gently as possible.
Another interesting thing I noticed: his dad may have told him not to do anything but as we all saw clearly ourselves, Arjun was getting ready to tell Ovi the truth in the office. He told her there was something he needed to tell her, that he should have told long back, and was just thinking of how to break it to her when he got interrupted by the orderly and the file from Purvi. I have a sneaking suspicion that is what is going to happen here. He is going to go to the restaurant, start to tell Ovi, and Purvi will interrupt them with the file. Its what I think. We see Ovi yell at Purvi...and I am not surprised by this either. She thinks Purvi is an employee Arjun hates...and if she can yell at Archu like she did yesterday, and behave so rudely (even though she apologized, when Archu called her ma'am after that she didnt say anything. If she was good she could have said no Im sorry you dont have to call me that- but she didnt) yelling and treating Purvi badly is definitely a very real probability for her.
I think we will have to see the sacrifice track and separation for a little while...but once Purvi comes to know that DK now knows the truth, and Archu also finds out the truth, I really feel that things are going to turn around.
Here is what I hope will happen, and if the CVs read the forums to look at this angle- it is a way to keep the drama and TRPs going without tearing ARVI apart.
RD said ARVI will be together. I think thats true. But it will not be easy. Once they do come together they are going to face a major backlash. I think the next track should be this- ARVI may come together but Purvi will refuse to actually get married until they have everyone's blessing. They may get it from DK, Manav, Archu, Teju, and Damodar (I still feel good vibes from Teju) but Savita, Ovi, and Sachin will hold out. I think that is going to be Purvi's next challenge. She will tell Arjun they will get married the day her parents finally come together, her sisters forgive and come back into her mom's life, and they are able to convince Savita, Ovi, and Sachin. This will definitely be a whole different drama, story, and angle altogether. Throw Punni into the mix, (with Prashant leaving the show if she is single again...she will be all the more determined to hook Arjun), and you have a real masala. If she could create a MU once...she will find the opportunity to do it again.
Purvi wants to unite Manav/Archana. Savita and Sachin want to prevent this at all costs. This I think will definitely make for some intense drama and an interesting story line to unfold. It will also allow ARVI to be together and move focus back to where it should be: to Archana and Manav. With Soham and Varsha entering...this will open a lot of old wounds and past histories for Manav and Archana and will be a vital factor in healing some of the pain they are still carrying in their relationship. The court case and chawl fight were there when the twins were born...but the first cracks in the relationship started with the loss of Soham. Everything went downhill from there. If that gets healed that will be the first step in piecing together the rest.
I think the CVs should not drag out the ARVI separation. Right now the interest of the fans are there because they want to see when ARVI will reunite. But if it is drawn out too long, the fans will start losing patience and tiring of the 180 degree turnabout and move on to another show and couple to focus on. I hope EKTA ji and the CVs realize this.
