Hi soap watcher! (what's ur real name btw if u don't mind my asking? 😃)
I did used to watch bhagonwali too and ymgkk (yaha main ghar ghar keli). But i stopped because the plot line got so surreal that it turned out to be just too bizarre to watch!! The other soaps don't have a realistic appeal to me like this one does, and a lot of the credit I think goes to the actors and delivery. I think with us being from US (tell me whether or not u agree on this) but delivery on TV is so realistic and mature (whether it's soaps, law & order, house, etc) that it becomes tough when the serials start to move towards fantastically far out plot lines.
I like to use YMGKK as an example. In the beginning Karan and Abha were an awesome couple who had to go through a lot to be together. But the storyline took such a bizarre twist it left me utterly speechless. I've never been more baffled at a TV show in my life!!! Now I can't stand to even try to watch for more than 5 minutes! (and that's actually doing pretty good now for me :))
Anyway, my point is I hope to God they don't massacre PR and make a mockery of ARVI. I think it's realistic portrayal really do make it the best Jodi on television. The chemistry and delivery of the 2 actors really make it a pleasure to watch.
I also just watched today's episode. **sighs** despite the time to mentally prepare the interaction between these 2 is so cute ( the office scene) that I find that I simply can't stomach the thought of Arjun getting engaged to Ovi. On the bright side though the Telebuzz article said "Ovi will be very unhappy with Arjun-Purvi relationship and will try to create problems for the couple"
This gives me hope that at least it indicates that Arjun/Purvi "will not go quietly into the night" so to speak.
**sighs** well u did put it best...I guess the time has come to Brace Ourselves!!!
