worst serial on tube-PR(HT) - Page 5

i dont want to argue just want to say when a serial start ppl watch it then they find interesting lead couple,good story, other supporting actor doing well then TRP go high . when PR started ppl find best chemistry in lead and simple middle class story which was unusual in other serial so TRP become high and it maintain top3 in all channel for more than 2years.but sometimes TRP go down with illogical story but PPL watched it for arman[sushita chemistry]for long time.then last sep when sushant quit news confirmed and baby giving track going on its trp go out of top10 even after sush quit its went out of top20, its very obvious that ppl got shocked and stop watching the show.then leap happened the story went depressing bc new manav and archana separated and still PR was out of top15 but now gradually new couple introduced ARVI new fan start to watch the show and old PR fan watching it for ANKITA and hiten fan watching for hiten.so all together its TRP sometimes coming in no8/9/10th,sometimes out of top10.its fluctuating.but i think if ARVI can create magic like ARMAN[sushita]it will b again top3 and can prove they r best jodi in TV and next ZRA ARVI will get best jodi nomination not archana manav.hope i can make u understand my point.

Yes any program is a combined effort of cast n team, now half of the old cast is out n the story is js pickin up wid arvi..
N I'll point out specifically that if PR made sushant wat he is even sushant has played a role to make PR wat it was when he was in it..

Sneha, i disagree. U r wrong in giving the whole credit to arjun purvi. It was the track of Archana, teju who boosted up the trp and again it will be because of Archana only as she is supporting purvi.
And giving credit to only two persons is totally unfair. The main leads and the other cast is also there who are working hard. Today also majority of the peoples watch for Archana and to see how she fights against the odds and her struggles..
Regarding Sushant no comment you know very well how much i love Sushita.

Well is the opinion of a handful of members on a particular site.That is no indication to what the normal viewers think of PR.Ratings havent showed that much of a dip even after the leap.Last week i heard its TVR was even above IPK,Pratigya on SP(ofcourse Tellybuz has selective memory loss when it comes to reporting Zee Tv show ratings).This show like 3-4 yr olds and the ratings it earns is actuallly good for a long running show.Its number 1 on Zee too

Having said I dont think PR is great shakes either.Still the show offers some good moments.But definitely better than some overhyped and overrated shows being aired on Star plus.Atleast here Archana doesnt worship a hen or goat!.Also there are some bonds and relations in PR that a viewer can relate to and find endearing even with all the OTT melodrama and illogical twists.Arjun-Purvi have a spark.Their natural camaraderie and chemistry has raked the ratings and viewership whether some accepts it or not.Post leap,PR got some new viewers tahnks to these two characters.Their story is old wine on new bottle,but the way its presented onscreen makes all the difference.Though Ojji is unbearable onscreen m sure even the old viewers have started loving tejju and her bond with archana,sulo andd purvi. Most importantly the show has some great actors like entire old cast especially Ankita ,Hiten Rithvik..They do full justice to the chaharacters they play and convince the viewers.When I started watching PR yrs ago I found Sushant so much better as an actor and thought Ankita has to improve a lot.But now after catching up with PR after I can reassure Ankita has shown tremendous growth as an actress.She has honed her skills especially voice modulation and dialogue delivery perfectly over yrs.

Sneha, that's not the truth. When Sushant left PR, two weeks Ankita herself alone was in PR and that time PR's trp was going up (u want i will give u the trp chart.) But as soon as HT entered it slipped more and more. Then after leap its catching up but just becoz of Ankita.
Just because you think Sushant left PR there is nothing in Archana to steal the trp's, u can't give the whole credit to arjun purvi..

i don't want to argue with anyone but it is not good to give the credit of PR's success to only one person. Both manav archana(sushita) were usp of the show. Sushita's chemistry ,their acting and also the acting of other actors because of which PR had been no1 for 2 years.

i don't agree with rash's comment that PR had been no1 only because of Archana. Both manav and Archana (sushita) as well as other actors made PR no1. ppl liked PR for both Manav and Archana not only for Manav or only for Archana.
