As far as I remember , Arjun was the one who initiated at that time (even though Ovi played as if she was flirting with other guy) came up and said she is his girl (even though he was not sure and confused at that time)and then the engagement will happen was announced..

So I hope Arjun really needs to sort out things coz I dont think his father will support him immediately but DK is a sensible unbias man..

I think even he would say to him to convince Ovi before anything...Being DK's son Arjun seems to be a very sensible and smart guy..I hope he clears out the cloud before these things reach Archu/Purvi...

Archu would be devastated if she comes up to know that the reason behind her daughter's Ovi heart break would her other daughter Purvi and Purvi if she comes to know would immediately sacrifice..so major task set up for Arjun...

The twist I see in all this is that may be Archu might support Ovi and Manav in turn might support Purvi...

I hope Arjun is able to plan it out somehow so that he can first convince his dad and then go on to convince Ovi before it reaches the mahaan Archu...If it reaches Archu then even if Purvi is unware at that point of time ,my guess is she will not allow that her one daughter is reason for heart break of another...so Arjun needs to be really be smart here...I see that DK has a special corner for OVi and seemed very much happy about Ovi being his daughter-in-law...so yes it might be difficult for him at first but seeing Purvi and knowing her more ,sure will see where his son's happiness is...Arjun just has to make sure that right circumstances prevail before DK and nothing mess up happens..Hope it sorts out for Arvi soon and hope they dont have to suffer the fate like Arman...

PS : I hope they do some justice for Ovi...She is very similar to Archu ,an obsessive love for her Manav (Arjun)...Instead of making her go all negative ,I hope some other wonderful person is shown coming into her life when she is heart broken who will keep her happy ( I would like to see a track between Ovi and that person) which will convince all and convince Archu more than anyone even more than Manav I guess...
