Arjun was practising basketball in the court, wearing his vest showing his well-toned chiselled body. The work out and taekwondo had really played an important role to build such physique. His hair wet by sweat and eyes full of glint over the last goal he scored. His chest broadened over the wonderful and skilled goal he had scored, it felt as if he had conquered the world, after all basketball was his world. He was about to start his practice once again when the peon told him about princi calling him.
"ok Raghu I am coming, but anything serious", he asked out of concern and curiosity
"nahi Arjun sir, even I don't know", Raghu said and went away from there

I am sure he called me to say that I am elected as the president, come on Arjun just go and grab the position. I don't know where this neil has gone, yeah must be hovering around alia love sick puppy. Arjun self-thought as he passed through the corridor and reached the princi's cabin. He knocked the door and went inside.
"ah Arjun, come have a sit I was waiting for you. Hmm seems you were practicing for the coming tournament", princi asked arjun waiting for his reply
"yes sir the biggest tournament of my life. Sir reasons for calling me. I guess election related topic"
"yes you guessed write. This time there is a change"
"change, sir what do you mean", Arjun asked a little nervously
"well, you will be the students president no wonder, but we have decided to get a vice president as well this time"
"VP, but why sir I mean for the past 2 yrs nothing changed and now. Ok but who is he"
"not he it's a she. Miss Purvi Karanjkar will be assisting you everywhere, did you get it"
Befor Arjun could say anything there was a knock at the door.
"Sir may I come in", purvi asked innocently trying hard not to laugh.
"yes come in, so I was saying to Arjun that you will be the VP, now that you have come let me finish the talk. Well a slight change in rule, Purvi needs to be informed about your decisions before you announce it so that you don't misuse the position alright Arjun", the princi told him without waiting for his answer "well than you may leave. Kal notice board pe my decision will be printed. Ok"

Both came out from the princi's office not at all happy with the princi's decision. Purvi not happy was a shock for Arjun but still he ignored it and went away from there to find neil who was missing.
I thought sir will say that purvi is standing against you but here all went wrong. Oh god working with that annoying creature is like suicide. Yeh princi ki to mai jaan na lelo. Pure plan ki dhajya uda di. I thought I will defeat him but urghhh aloo where are you, purvi self-thought, and went away from there sulking.

After a nice n shocking day purvi reached home to be greeted by archana
"hello aai, how was your day, I heard your boss is coming for a week, aaji told me in the morning but could not ask you", purvi asked in one go
"take deep breathe and then I will answer your question. Ok so my day was good, yes our boss is coming actually he is the partner in our company, and I left early today", answered archana
"ok aai, give me the dinner and I am going to bed"
"its 7 and you want to go to bed, teri tabiyat to thik hai na" sulochna asked worriedly
"yes aai, everything is fine, but from tomorrow I will have to reach college at 7. I amm appointed as the VP and that too with that Arjun. Pls aai jaldi sona hai" cried purvi

No wonder it was a shocking news but Arjun was slightly happy with it. He was happy that purvi will work under him and he can torture her as well. He picked up his cell and called neil
"hello dude, where are you", he asked
"oh nothing, some family problem and so had to skip college"
"ok but nothing serious", Arjun asked, his voice overfilled with concern for his best friend
"arey nothing,, you tell why did you call me any probs"
"no probs, but a big news. Purvi will be the VP working under me. Isn't it great."
"omg another set of fights. God has the princi got mad"
"oh you leave it, tu bas alia ke sapne me khoya reh. Ok bye I need to go now", saying so he hanged the phone and strode off to the kitchen to catch up with some burger or pizza, and then lazily made his way to the bed.

she took a rickshaw and headed to the college where she was greeted with none other than her enemy.

It was already late and Arjun was getting late for his first day as the students president. He reached the college and was parking his bike when he saw Purvi coming in.

Both stood face-to-face, giving each other a tashan look. If only they could go back in time and put some brain in the princi, both thought the same and looked at each other quizzically
"well as I can see you are not going to start first. So let me do the honours, miss purvi we should first start with the banner and hoarding for the basketball tournament", Arjun asked
"sir but basketball is not that important, we should first sort out the time for extra lectures", purvi put her point in front of Arjun
"oh so you don't think BB important, than let me tell you Miss Purvi that BB is very imp, because our college team is very famous for it", Arjun said bluntly
"I am sorry Mr Arjun but just because you are the team captain doesn't make your BB very important, because studies is more more and more necessary" barked Purvi.
Both were ready for another round of fights when Alia interrupted and stopped the tu tu mai mai
"aah, so the student president and VP are having a healthy discussion. I see", alia commented sarcastically, throwing glares at Purvi.
"no actually we were talking about which work to give first priorities", Purvi said meekily, while Arjun just stood there shocked upon learning that tigress Purvi was acting like a bheegi billi infront of Alia.
"yeah, I can hear your talks in the next lane as well. And I have the solution, Arjun you prepare time table for extra lecture and Purvi you look after the hoardings", suggested alia which was accepted by both.

after an hour the students started arriving and were ready for their first lecture. Purvi and Arjun were completely engrossed in their work that they forgot about the lecture. their concentration was disturbed by the final bell, both lokked at the time and out of panic rushed to the class.
"well jab bappa hai raazi to nahi chalegi arjun purvi ki manmani", this is what was apt for the situation. Purvi rushed from the arts room and Arjun rushed from the library, and collided into each other. Purvi stumbled due to the thud but was caught into two pairs of arms.

oh god, she is gonna fall. catch her, thinking so arjun caught her before she could fall on the ground and break her back.
For the first time he saw her so closely. she was really beautiful, those big brown eyes staring into his brown eyes and pink rosy lips which were tempting him to feel them, cheeks as red as the rose and her cute fringe falling on her face. god arjun you are thinking about Purvi, stop it or else you will also get a slap wake up dude arjun mentally kicked himself and straightened himself before he does something unwanted.

After the class was over it was a free, both decided to check each others work and so decided to meet at the canteen. the thought of that uncomfortable meeting was not even wandering in their mind. it was as if both are having a ghajini type memory.
"so Purvi can you show me your work. i mean can i see the hoardings", arjun asked casually
"yeah sure. here they are. and can i see the time table", both handed each other their respective work and started to make faces.
"Purvi its so out of fashion. i mean the colour is not matching the symbol, just change it puhlease"
"well same goes for you. the time-table is just not in synchronized pattern. how are students going to fit their time after the college, i mean 6:30. please change it to morning 7" purvi said
"i did it perfectly and no1 is gonna have any problem apart from you Miss trouble maker"
"my hoardings are also perfect, and only you have problem. so you make your own personal hoardings", shouted Purvi and continued "you know what you have problem in each and everything so you are better with your own self. no wander you stay here alone and your parents are not even bothered about you", Purvi said angrily. but this time she had crossed the limits and now only God can save her from the wrath of Arjun who was going red due to anger.
no one knew why he was here and why he left canada, except neil. and this time around purvi had hit the wrong spot. and he was so not going to forgive her for this. he grabbed Purvi's hand and dragged her out of the college and took her to the college's backyard which was isolated and no one ever came there.
"what did you say, my parents dont want me. kya jaanti ho tum mere barein mai. nothing. than who the hell are you to judge me on the basis of my family. i ignored everything but not this. you have crossed your limits Miss Purvi and this time you YOU WILL SEE THE WORST SIDE OF ME." emphasized arjun leaving Purvi shocked and trembling. tears made their way through her eyes and before she could wipe them off Arjun sarcastically said "Please spare me your rona dhona i am not going to fall for it" he said and left Purvi's arm which was red due to the harsh hold and had some marks left on it. Arjun went away from there promising revenge for her insensitive behaviour
