A comforter is not a mattress Varun.

It's more like a heavy blanket, usually with quilting, and lovely patterns.😊

ok...i got it...its not so common in india...so then duvet is the one with which you cover the comforter, right?say its the shirt and pants of comforter..?😆

A comforter is completely different to a duvet.

A comforter is one complete thing. A duvet is in two parts, the cover and the duvet itself.

Both the comforter and the duvet are used as the top layer on a bed and can be used to cover with if you want.
