Fab commentary again Kool!. You're right, the CVs are recycling the old story. The problem is they're not even bothering to wrap it in new paper; they can't even be bothered to do that. It's the exact same thing happening again. I'm totally bored of it all. So no comments on Archana and manav, and even Sulochana. About Purvi taking sides, frankly, she's in no position to take sides and for it to matter. If Ovi or Teju or Sachu took sides, it would matter because they're related to both Archana and Manav. Manav still doesn't know Purvi, and Purvi has nothing to do with Manav or the Deshmukh family except the emotional bond she feels herself. Of course, manav being manav would probably feel upset. But in reality, Purvi doesn't have a say in any of this because adoption, if there was one, was made without manav's knowledge and acceptance.
Damodar's character is so weird. He really has no role or use except Archana jaap,and that doesn't even help archana. If Savita was filling manav's and the kid's heads with archana hate all these years, why didn't damodar stop it? After all, he clearly didn't believe archana was wrong at all. He could have told the grandchildren tales of archana's awesomeness and atleast have them be neutral. He didn't. And he doesn't seem to have any affection for his grandchilren either. Not a single scene where he's bonding with the kids, or even talking to them is shown. So only archana he likes, not his son or even her children? His character is the weirdest, most purposeless character I've seen; and frankly, his character is perverted the way it's been portrayed so far. While his liking for archana is okay and even natural; his indifference to his own children and grandchildren is abnormal and that's what makes it perverted.
Edit: I hope they don't show the court ordering a long-separated and 50+ year old couple to stay together before granting a divorce. That's ridiculous. At the least the option of them forced to pretend to be happily married due to Punni's marriage being at stake is a better option.
