Hope the CVs are always doing this, they seem to suffer from short term memory loss but we don't.

you know I don't personally have any major dislike for the character Archana but the whole "wins" situations even when certain mistakes are blatant makes it difficult to accept or endear oneself to the character. I wish every once in a while they would show that she is human and acknowledges her shortcomings or mistakes honestly and without a martyrish air.

It would make the character more reasonable for me.

ankita does a fine job with the character she is asked to portray but the actor can only contribute so much in making the character endearing, the CVs also have to take some responsbility

I totally agree with you. I want Archana to acknowledge what she did was wrong, she shouldn't have given up her children nor should she have fought against Manav in court. I want her to acknowledge that somewhere she went wrong, that she shares blame in her marriage falling apart. This is not only Manav's doing or Savita's, Archana is also at fault and I want her to accept that.

exactly - that is all that it would take to make this character more appreciable. Admit your mistakes and try to fix them directly rather than indirectly by adopting other children. I am not saying adoption is a wrong thing. it is the right thing when it is done for the sake of helping the child but the way the CVs have shown it, it appears like she adopted the child to ease her own feelings of guilt, remorse and loneliness.

Manav had a right to seek seperation. If Archana felt she was not guilt and that the incidents were out of her control or unrelated to her actions, she had the equal right to fight Manav for the sake of those children. she apparently gave up her rights to her children (without any consideration to those poor innocents) but to appease her love. that explanation feels like such baloney right? I mean the fact that someone can sit and write these excuses and ask actors to deliver them with any degree of sincerity is just 😲😆

as regards the girls we don't respect our mothers just because they gave us birth. we respect them because they nutured us in their arms after they carried us in their wombs. it is a sign of love for their nurturing not the biological process only. that is why purvi loves her - she nurtured her even though she did not bear her.

Agreed .

It simply should not be shown that enough is enough , she has no wish to apologise to Manav but only tries to make up with the kids .

Manav's life got royally skewed due to her . 18 years he has spent like a monk ...for NO fault of his . This woman

First made horriible mistakes [ Court Case and trusting her Mad sister }

Then , realising that things had gone too far , decided to use her babies as guinea pigs in her quest for mahaanta...just gave them up with a saintly smile

Ignored repeated pleas of her mom to go and talk to him and sat huddled in a rocking chair , waiting for him to come to her

Trusted her Mother in law who had bluntly told her 2 days before that she hated her and had no problems playing games with her to get her OUT of her life ...

Then did the last minute dramas of weeping and running on the roads .

Did not BOTHER to find her kids or to phone them .

Got happily busy with a girl she adopted .

Took utmost pride in moulding her to be a replica of herself and her mother

And suceeded .

Today that girl is poking her nose into matters that r none of her business and inviting disaster just like her mother . Archana had miffed Ajit and Purvi has miffed Punni .

Punni is gonna be the GRAHAN of Purvi's life .

Ovi Teju grew up without a mom , Manav lived a life of a monk due to Archana's mistakes and the PEEDA MAJYA MANACHI music is played on Archanas background .

That song suits Manav actually . Sad , wisened , a mother to his daughters ...he managed to fyi make it big WITHOUT this woman interfering in his life with her constant horrible maika problems and silly whims [ like defending chawl people }

He is getting sucked in the quicksand AGAIN .

Exactly my thoughts'Ankita acts so well that ppl just dislike the charater with conviction'she can act the 'extreme mahaan' thing very convincingly'ppl disliking the character will always find a smile/a movement that viewers can simply give examples to make their point'it's such good acting'whereas even today's Poorvi's act regarding her fight with Aagi was so fake too me'.that scene with archu was poorly directed, found it OTT'.my POV

Kools loved ur post about how Manav at the peak of his career could have any number of women at his finger-tips …I could have loved if Cvs showed this, but alas Cvs will never show any of these things as to them these are extremely repulsive/negative things to do…they want to destroy the character but to not that extend…but the truth is getting married a second time after a first failed marriage is only natural and human, ppl marry not only for the physical aspect, but the companionship one gets….it is so human to seek a life partner to share and grow old with… I mean ppl might develop mental dependence with any physical need….

Hope the writing is so poor for Archana's character. I would have rather her reasons for giving up her children is because she feels she failed Soham by trusting Varsha, instead they made this about her love for Manav and how pavitra their relationship is. Her warped views about love have had a damaging affect on her character. I want her to be shown thinking realistically here. Hopefully she will be shown accepting her mistakes once she meets Manav and her children. She has to own upto her part in being out of her kids lives for so many years.

Mandy how long has she been shown Mahaan making these silly decisions almost over a 18 + months...I have been saying the same...If Archana character goes thru her own soul searching, be realistic, admit her mistakes, show remorse and own upto her own mistakes...Why do you think many turned from loving this character to getting annoyed by her and her actions?
Archana is a woman of 2012 this era...No woman acts like this or thinks like this...Atleast I cant relate to her 😳

I can't relate to her either. The CVs need to drop the wife in Archana and focus on the mother especially after what happened in today's episode. Let Archana be shown unable to forget Ovi's words, let her be shown remorseful and realizing where she went wrong. Let this be about her mistakes and not Manav's.
