Regarding Purvi , what happened was this .Sulochana had a personal talk alone with Purvi and ascertained from her about the reality ...if her grandchild Punni was indeed having affair with married man . Instead of telling Purvi to butt out and going to Vinod to tell him about the facts herself , Sulochana showed Purvi that she depended on her to do something to sort this mess out .
What Sulo shud have done is called her SON to meet her privately , minus Manju , and laid the facts before him , including that married mans name . That wud have been ideal thing to do in my opinion .

I agree with you re the situation with Archana and Madhuri when they first met. That's why I say that Archana isn't always right and I don't agree with her words and deeds when she's wrong. She also wasn't fair to Madhuri and Varun when she asked Madhuri to say in court that she wasn't married to Dharmesh.
There are times we must be realistic and help our loved ones through hard times, not ask others to make a sacrifice so that our loved ones escape embarrassing or hurtful situations. This is one time when Archana should have advised Vaishu to leave Dharmesh and move on. I don't know the laws in India, so don't know if Vaishu could have asked for any monetary compensation from Dharmesh, but at least she has a college education, so she could have helped herself and her baby.
One thing about Archana is that she willingly forgives someone when she knows they are genuine and especially when she has been wrong. She did become friends with Madhuri even when Vaishu didn't, and stayed her friend even when Vaishu accused her of favouring Madhuri over her. Yes, she spoiled it by asking Madhuri to lie in court. Wish she would be consistent. Then again, here I must blame the CV's as they are guilty of doing this to most of the characters, another reason why I got too fed up with PR to continue watching it.
I fully support your suggestion as to how Sulochana should have dealt with Poorvi in the Punni matter. I don't know why the CV's can't be a bit realistic and show character growth and development! I just can't understand their refusal to do this! Sulochana is supposed to be in her early 70's I suppose, yet she doesn't know better than to involve a young lady in such a serious matter? Another example of why I stopped watching PR. Doesn't make sense to do something that you know will upset you and make you angry.
