Just one thought today :-

Archana won't sign the divorce papers legally separating her from Manav but she did not take a second to sign the papers legally separating her from the children.

Mother of the year ?

😆😆😆 You are so witty Bips...

Another Mother of The year is Sulo ...running after damad's taxi tomorrow . Huffing and Puffing for Archana . If she had taken the trouble of lifting her lazy tongue and chiding her daughter when she had come to ask her advice about filing that bloody case on Manav , she wud have spared herself this undignified trouble😆

Thank You ... but truly, my imagination pales in comparison to yours ...

... Why is savita being made bali ka bakra ... One thing is clear - Archana doesn't give a damn about the kids ... She doesn't care who is raising them, she doesn't care to meet them, love them, spend time with them let alone fight for them ...

How can a mother give up her children ? ... and why ? ... because your husband does not love you anymore ? ... So what ? If your husband doesn't love you, you stop caring for the children ? ... You have no personal bond with them ... utter rubbish! ... zero mamta

Savita was right in what she told Manav. Archana was not bad but because of her mother she became bad. Archana has been heavily influenced by her mother and it has only made her go down the wrong path in life instead of the right one. Had it not been for Sulochana Archana's life would have been different, she wouldn't have felt the need to take care of her siblings from such a young age or feel she has to make all these sacrifices and be mahaan. Sulochana is the one who put this in her head. In some ways I feel bad for Archana, there is no one around to guide her in the right direction. Sulochana has literally watched Archana's life fall apart but instead of helping her she makes Archana believe that she was in the right while Manav was wrong. There has been no room for her character to grow and I hate that. With the leap happening soon, I would like for Archana to be shown stronger and to pass that strength down to Poorvi. I don't want the same cycle to repeat itself, 20 years is more than enough for Archana to suffer for her mistakes. The CVs could easily fix the damage done to Archana's character by having her stay away from that toxic family of hers and stand on her own two feet.

Ok. I'm ready now. Pranam everyone!

Today our discussions have been lingering on the past and how it shaped and fueled each character's decisions. Atleast that has been the main theme.

I am not interested in defending any character. I will say that I agree that Sulochana aai has too much influence in Archana's life. However do any of us remember why?

According to the story, Archana was a semi-illiterate woman who was unable to get married. Why was she semi-illiterate? Sulochana aai during the early stages of Archana's adolescence became ill. It was to such an extent that she couldn't care for her family as she wanted to. This resulted in Archana dropping out of school at an early age.
😲
Archana became the one to care for the family. She did all the tasks that should have been shared in a family of that size. Of course, being the only two people in at home most of the day we must assume that Aai and Archana developed a close bond. Remember, Varsha and Vaishaili were the ones allowed to have a normal childhood. They would have interacted with outsiders and learned to think for themselves. Varsha became strong-willed and stubborn being the more outgoing of the sisters. Vaishaili was a bit spoiled since she was the sweet baby of the family. Neither ever had to face much difficulty. That's why we have only seen a selfish Varsha. Vaishaili however was the one who eventually developed the most balanced character when compared to her sisters. As the time passed, Sulochana aai got better, but everyone believed that Archana could no longer go to school because of her age. And that's where the story began.😕

So why does Sulochana aai support Archana all the time? Guilt. She has always felt guilty that because of her Archana started her life with an unnecessary disadvantage. As a result she has always supported Archana in almost all her decisions.

So the problem is Archana was only taught to sacrifice when it came to her life. This is why the story shows her as someone who fights for everyone's rights but her own. -_-

Varsha was never taught an ounce of sacrifice. This is why she and Dharmesh continue to appear as the most selfish characters in the story. It's why we saw her readyness to abort her own child, and then her readiness to take advantage of her sister's weakness and covetuously claim Archana's child.

Vaishaili is a character we are only now beginning to understand. During her marriage and its deterioration we began to see her traits. That's why we know she is the more balanced of the sisters. We saw another side of her when she took advantage of Archana's need to be re accepted and convinced her to persuade Dharmesh's first wife to denounce their relationship. However, if I remember correctly, she did that so that she could legally divorce Dharmesh, not so that she could get back with him. In the end her mother's influence and Dharmesh's blackmail gave us the result we see today. And yes, Archana's actions played a major role.

Next part.😆

Savita aai was originally a good parent, but she favoured her son Sachin more. Which is why the spoilt boy and Shravani ended up in their terrible position. Unfortunately, greed and want slowly poisoned her character. This is why she became a factor in her son's destruction. Instead of providing guidance in their married life, she created strife. Not only this, but poisoned the mind of her favourite pota Sachu, and even harmed his relationship with both the women he considered mothers. To achieve her goals we even saw her pinch Soham once!😡

Manav has always been good. He was another child taught to sacrifice. But the difference, his experiences also taught him to fight for himself, and against his once doomed destiny.

We keep saying that Archana and her mother destroyed the so called "pavitra rishta". But, if we take the time to notice. Ever since that first time leap, we saw a separated Manav and Archana. They were living two separate lives. Yes, they love each other, but Manav became engrossed in his work, and Archana in raising her children. Just like regular married couples. These new developments are just the catalyst. The new plots are just there to emphasise how much they grew apart, while still loving each other. After all, before all of this, Archana always supported Manav, no matter what. (By the way, Archana didn't lose the first child because she was careless. Remember, Manav and she were struggling financially, and some of those days they went without food. Also she was always stressing over Manav's pains and frustrations. Obvioulsy any woman would miscarry with these factors.)
As for Archana being maternal, well the writer's don't seem to have planted that in her character. Of course we'll chalk Archana's actions up to that of a mentally weak, and naive woman based on her dialogues.

In conclusion, with the current situation, I agree that Manav and Archan need to end their rishta. Manav should marry Shravani, not because she is Sachu's mom, but because her character has grown. She has shown great maturity and wisdom. Why? She stopped being spoilt and developed herself.

Varsha should be committed to a psych ward, and Satish should remove himself from her toxic touch if she ever returns.

Vaishaili needs to Divorce Dharmesh. And the two divorcees, Satish and Vaishu will become the most stable couple.

Finally, Savita aai should be fully revealed as the vile person she has become.
And Archana should learn to become strong.

But this is a soapie, so no good will ever fully occur.
