Kool Di, how would you like if Sulo and Damodar were a couple, and Manohar and Savita were a couple? That would be really interesting.

Would love it .😃

So true Kool Di, both Varsha and Ajit would set each other straight. You think Satish and Archana would make good couple? I think so too, but Satish and Vandita also sounds good, I think we should see a flip flop with Varsha-Satish to become to Varsha-Ajit and Vandu having Satish. I think Sulo deserves Damodar but if Savita and Manohar married, Savita wouldn't be able to fight so much as Manohar is not the person to fight😆 But yes, that would be great, to have Savita and Manohar marry, and SulDam marry😆

Have you ever had something happen to you that was so embarrassing that you are still not over it? If so do you mind sharing what it was? Yes I once went to a hotel for lunch with a group and the string of my salwar SNAPPED . I was so horrified . The tailor had used a very thin cheap material string . I somehow held my salwar , said Excuse me impassively and ran to the bathroom , camoflauging that I was holding it with my purse . Inside I found to my horror that there were NO safey pins in my purse . I normally carry them around . Not knowing what to do I simply stood behind the door . It was a Unisex bathroom . With a single person capacity . People were coming and knocking and going . Fyi one of the GUYS in my group came to the door and knocked , asking me if I was ok . I told him to call a girl from my group and when she came I told her my problem and she immediately went to the other girls and brought safetypins for me . All safety pinned up I shame facedly slunk in a rickshaw AWAY , did not join them for dinner , told the girls to tell em that I was SICK .😃😃 As the rick wobbled on bumpity construction dug roads I wondered if the safety pins were gonna open . This in the day of NO cell phones existing .

Have you done anything new and different lately?Yup . I took to watching Uttaran and got gaalis from my friends .

What colors do you think look best in, and which do you think you look the worst in?Violet . Chocolate Brown .Lemon yellow .Powder pink . Worst ? Grey I think .

Are you heavy footed when driving, are you always driving faster than you should? I drive at the most 10 over speed limit on Interstate . On inner roads , 5 above speed limit .

If you could live anywhere in the world you wanted where would it be? (besides India and next door to me😆) Paris .

What do you think being a good friend means? A good friend is one whom u can call up even at 4 in the night when really needed and he or she will come along running .

If your life was made into a movie what would the title be, and would it be a comedy, drama, or adventure flick?Adventure flick . The Battles of Kools .

Is reading one of your pastimes? If so what genre of book do you like?yes I live for reading . Horror is my fav genre .

Have you read any of the books on the bestseller list lately? If so which one? no . Since last year no bestsellers .

What or who has had the most impact on how you live your life?My husband .

Do you consider yourself a high-maintenance person? No . I hate dressing up and I dislike spending money on parlors or jewels . So I guess my hubby is lucky .

What is the one habit you have that you would like to change?Being short tempered and abrupt .

What is the idea of the perfect man/woman for you? One who readily accepts he made mistakes and is not perfect .

What do you want your future to be like? Very busy . with MY life .

Do you remember your first close friend's name? Do you remember an activity you did together?Yes but wont mention it on open forum . We had bunked afternoon school and hid in the toilet so teachers wud not see us .

Do you have any actresses or actors that you like the best? I like Ajay Devgan in gangster roles .Amitabh when he is not so flashy . Actress ...Vyjantimala and Priyanka , Asin etc .

Do you watch a lot of TV? If so, what programs?Currently ...PR , RMJ , uttaran and Mukti bandhan .

If you won a huge amount of money what would you do with it? (besides coming to visit me😉)Wud pay for the schooling of at least 5 people in a third world country who WANT to study but dont have adequate finances .

Thanks Kools for sharing and I agree to each his own.

Just to share, maternal uncle having first right of marriage is not practised by all Southern states. Most Keralites still follow the matrilineal system where the maternal uncle is considered the family leader and plays the role of father to sister's children not husband😛 .

Congratulations Advocate for being the chief guest on the forum.
Interesting set of answers.😊
This is one of my favourite section on the forum, so couldn't resist asking u some questions.😳

1. Why Koolsaddhu as ur username?

2. I read u r short tempered. How do the kids n hubby handle mommy's n wife's "short temperateness" at home?
( by this, i mean do they have a specific way to react? Do kids run away to their rooms n hubby completely tuned off till u stop blowing a fuse😆...)

3. Any instance/experience in ur life that after living it, u said - yeah it was worth the wait/sacrifice/pain...
b. N since PR forum is kind of a second home (well i hope), the same question applies. Any such instance when u said - yes!! it was worth it!!

I'm back with questions 😛

  1. I've read a few of your posts where you mentioned you are old fashioned. My question is :what is a belief that you hold with which you think many people disagree?
  2. If you could be blessed with another talent or ability, what would you want it to be?
  3. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up on?

son made the id .😊 I just took it .

2. I read u r short tempered. How do the kids n hubby handle mommy's n wife's "short temperateness" at home?
( by this, i mean do they have a specific way to react? Do kids run away to their rooms n hubby completely tuned off till u stop blowing a fuse😆...)Well it goes this way . I don't snippety snap all the time nor am I bad tempered . But if someone does NONSENSE , he or she gets the sharp end of my tongue .I have that flaw ...I can't stand deliberate nonsense. Like for instance if someone commits a mistake I can forgive him or her for doing it if he admits it . If he or she JUSTIFIES it she gets it then from me . So its Very easy for my family members . They immediately ADMIT if they have beeen wrong . 😆😆
They very well know I don't have patience with silly justifications . That way time is wasted .
Kids run away to their rooms , yes . All 3 . As I fire rapidly in Konkani when I lose it .
Hubby sits with raised eyebrows and asks me if I am done when sarcasm simmers down .😆

But 90%of the time ...its a simple Mom , I goofed up . And I forgive it .

That goes for me too . I straightaway apologise if I goof up . Mommy did a wrong thing today forgive Mommy .

And they do . This works really fine for all of us . Matter ends , nothing remains in heart . Mistake admitted , rather than justified with lies etc . Lets move on now , is the attitude .😊😊😊

3. Any instance/experience in ur life that after living it, u said - yeah it was worth the wait/sacrifice/pain...
Yes . When I was doing my Phd I became pregnant [ My son } . Gave it up so I cud raise him myself . Don't like leaving kids with sitters and my MIL had rheumatism . I gave up 2 years of research .it pained as My Guide thought highly of me and wanted me to apply for Post doctoral abroad . then ten years later I again applied for PHD as my son was now grown up . Again , accepted . And was miraculously pregnant with TWINS . Again gave it up . Pained horribly as I love intellectual aademic stimulation .But when I see them , grown up , and running around , calling me Mommy ...I feel its worth it . Life is not over yet . Will STILL TRY . For me , children come before anything and everything .
b. N since PR forum is kind of a second home (well i hope), the same question applies. Any such instance when u said - yes!! it was worth it!! When I got so many people whom I did not even know , waiting for my posts and commentary . When I wud be contacted f I had not posted and wud be told If u r not posting I am leaving forum as its not interesting anymore . I did not agree with all ur views but u made forum lively and interesting so I made an id and joined it . If ur not coming we too go . This jaanu , from MANY silent readers when i gave up commentary . I was zapped coz I had NO idea my casual posts had those effect . These were the BEST compliments I got ...that they did not agree with me but yet did not want me to stop posting .😊 All the posts , debates , controversies were WORTH IT .
