What made you choose Comedy Ka Naya Daur?
Its time for change. I like series of Comedy Circus and felt after all the rona dhona now it's time for laughter. Now I want to entertain my fans with a new genre, comedy. I know this show will let me explore my talent in this field. So I took it up to explore myself and entertain my audience.

What does comedy mean to you?
I feel comedy is a form of relaxation for the mind that is always ruled by anger and disappointment. I feel it's very important to make people laugh but at the same time it's not that easy to attempt comedy. With Comedy Ka Naya Daur you will surely see a different side of me.

What's your take on you co-partner Kapil Sharma on the show?
I feel that for me its a challenge to get into the shoes of stand up comedian celebrity Kapil Sharma, who has won every series of Comedy Circus. With this pressure on me I hope I live up to his expectations. He is truly a hard working man and has great comic timing. I am hoping that I won't let him down. I also hope that the audience and judges will appreciate the hard work that we are putting in."

For me dancing is passion as I have been dancing since childhood and I feel comedy is a part of acting but in the end I am an actor. So for me both dancing and comedy are enjoyable.

What compliments have you received from the judges especially Sohail Khan?
Our first episode was nice. Sohail Khan complimented me that I have a great comic timing which is very important for doing any comedy. He advised me work on my comic timings which definitely give a tough fight to other contestants.
