There is no doubt that what Vinod and Manju did to Sulochana was not right but she is quickly losing my sympathy for what she is putting her daughters through. What is their mistake? Why is she punishing them? She knows how worried they must be, all three are going around from home to home looking for her. Archana is worried if her mother has eaten anything but is Sulochana shown worried about them? No, all she does is talk to her picture of Manohar. She has no consideration for the worry she is putting not only her daughters through but their husbands as well. Shame on her.

I second you on this one . Sulochana has herself faced the immense societal sniggering when Manohar went missing and she KNOWS the pain of NOT KNOWING and those unanswered questions . Yet she chose to go on the SAME path and throw her children in furore . Is Vinod the only child ? She has 3 daughters who DO care about her . And its a property fraud thing , thers nothing to be ashamed of ...its not HER fault , if at all someone has to feel shame its Vinod Manju when society questions them . The Eye Doctor can give testimony in court that just that day she had come to him to show her failing eyesight . And she can testify herself that till that afternoon the papers were in her name and the beta and bahu transferred it all on their name by taking advantage of weak eyesight and lying to her it were Insurance papers .

Archana cud have taken the case to Mahila Samiti and asked questions like howabout fighting for an aged Mahila for a change ? Why only dowry cases and bahus ...cannot a modern working bahu of today wreak injustice on a senior citizen with yesteryear values ?

But I doubt we will see this . This roaming around in hotels and asking for jobs is shameful in the extreme .

I'm actually amazed that she feels that telling her daughters and their husbands about what happened is a let down of her sanskaars, and thats the reason she wont go to them when she knows that they will open their doors and hearts without questioning her. I mean seriously? Even then, she thinks about sanskaars! Looks like she firmly believes in whatever crap she has taught her kids as sanskaars, I thought she was just haughty, but she's blind and foolish as well as haughty. OMG!

Varsha , Vinod is the ONLY one who can truly hit Manju where it hurts .

Manju can be hit only in one way . By taking children away from her and leaving her without a marraige or a life .

There can be no financial punishment for Manju as she is financially independent .

The slap will make her only more venomous . Its simply drama .

Besides , honestly speaking , which of Archanas slaps have ever CHANGED anything ?

Did Ajit change when she had slapped him ? No , he changed only when he became poor .

Did Dharmesh change ? He became even more venomous .

Manav changes with her slaps coz she has emotional impact on him . These people r third parties , they care a damn for her slaps .

I agree with Varsha ...the slap , if at all it has to be shown , shud come from the RIGHT person . If they had shown Manohar returning rich , and Manju going to beg forgiveness from Sulo with fake tears and asking her to RETURN , and Sulo had at that time listened calmly without batting an eyelid and THWACK !!!!!! given a hard slap under Manju's ears , that slap wud make more impact .

Archana had such an opportunity for a 'RIGHT" timed Slap . Sachin's DEATH . Manju was making oversmart unrepentant comments even THEN . When the Deshmukhs were plunged in grief due to her false complaint .

Archana cud also have done it after her miscarraige , coz Sulo knew that the phone had been kept aside .

She did not . She cares little for Manav's brother or her own baby .

When repentance enters Vinod's heart and changes to fury like it does with most men who realise how much the woman in their life made them SINK ...he can TRULY punish Manju as he alone has the power to do so . No one else has it .

That is , if Archana DOES NOT INTERFERE . Last time He had used this power correctly . He had Taken children away and left her alone . She was on the verge of UNDERSTANDING A LESSON when this Archana MEDDLED by grabbing children from Vinod and returning them back to her .

Manju wud also have learnt the lesson of her life if she had spent some days in jail for lodging FALSE police Complaints . Savita had WANTED that . Savitas daughter had even lodged complaint against her . Again Archana had MEDDLED in matter of Deshmukhs and secretly provided anticipatory bail to Manju under the excuse that she was pregnant . Manju had been BADLY scared then , she bounced back to full form , unpunished .

Her biggest enablers r Sulo and Archu . They NEVER really punish her , they ONLY DO DRAMAS . Like now , instead of telling everyone what Manju did , Sulo is doing drama by roaming around streets of Dombivli , begging for jobs vobs . In a sense she is PROTECTING Manju again .

Archana will slap her , weep and say dialogues that will never change Manju's black heart . And in somedays , for Punni Ruchis Sake , will see to it that Sulo Manju live under a roof together again .

Manju needs PERMANENT punishment ...and ONLY Vinod can give it to her . If Archana meddles THIS TIME EVEN , he shud slap her HARD and I would LOVE seeing THAT slap .

I gave this answer in episode discussion thread . Then I thought it may get lost in the multitude of pages ...it can have scope for discussion in this thread too .

well i am not endorsing patriarchial norms ... i believe that mom-dad have to be equal ... but need to say something here

it is really essential that the MAN OF THE HOUSE shud be a strong enough person to keep his family safe ... & wen the man is not firm then women like sulochana & k sisters & manjusha mess up everyhing

all the men of pr are not at all proper ... manohar was tooo much like a poor goat who cudnt speak up a word ... & whenever he tried to speak then slapo wud be the first person to shut him up

& wat 2 say about bevda damodar ... never stood up for his own family ... always wagged tail in front of samdhan & bahu's siblings ... he put that worm in archana's head about manju was pregnant ... & he showed the solution of bail which foolish archana immediately agreed ... he thought so much for his son's murderer but never showed sympathy for shraavni in her pregnancy ... bcoz of that his own daughter is being treated like a piece of garbage in lokhande house ... all karma !!!!

prasad , Archana wud have got Manju out SOMEHOW even if Damodar had not put keeda of anticipatory bail in her head

Damodar is useless but Archana is very goal oriented when it comes to protecting her brothers wife

As far as Manohar goes , he was a total Goat but a sensible one , unfortunately his Notanki wife and daughters just brushed him aside and took decision making in their hands

thats why I laugh when they show Sulo hugging his picture now

he looks so happy in that photo , may he be happy wherever he is and may he never return to this hell hole

Just look at Damodar , shamelessly drinking in the house even in the afternoons ...and Savita is blamed for being infuriated with him

Btw todays episode was HILARIOUS , read my review in Episode Dicussion thread
