For years I have roamed through the Dadar Phool Market to buy flowers whenever there were poojas and festivities in my house ...both , maayka and sasural . Even my Maayka was at Dadar . So is my sasural . For Ganpati Bappa 's day , Goddess in Navaratri , weddings , engagements ...I always shopped there . Do u know how these flower sellers r ? They r uneducated and speak in rustic Marathi , hollering at the top of their voices and calling customers to buy their flowers as by evening they will wilt and they will suffer loss . Their Dhandha , their business is only such . They deal with Persihable goods . how can they close shops to show anger at the bombings yaar ? Their children wont go hungry ?

Instead of criticising those poor people who have no option to make a living , Mumbaikars should make a tight crowded circle around the airport and not allow the Prime Minister to get out of his plane . They should hold placards of GO BACK TO DELHI . We dont want u here , we will MANAGE .We r getting USED to this , What will u do anyway , u and ur cabinet ? U r using OUR money , our PUBLIC money for this visit ...these Minister Visits and security r COSTLY ...we need that money to give it to victim's families , divert it THERE . With our Money u will pay an official visit and Go back and do WHAT ? Nothing Na ? So DONT COME , At least save public money !

Till Public does this with EVERY minister who DARES to try to come to Mumbai to SEE IT , they will not get message . ALL planes shud be made to FLY BACK .😡

You know what, thankfully it did not happen on tuesday because more people travel through that area for Siddhivinayak. Casualties would have been more.Even we were there on tuesday in the afternoon.

The citizens feel absolutely helpless when such a thing happens. The government is supposed to protect us, but they do absolutely nothing and get away with everything. Where will the common man go? There is no accountability in this country for any wrongdoing.

all that talk of spirit of mumbai is met with derisive sneer by all strata of society .. be it the roadside shopkeepers or the elite twitterati ...

and geez , the politicians should stay away from hospitals .. more headache for the doctors and nurses in charge .. do they treat patients or play hosts to these politicians ?

what is the purpose of this except some sort of morbid PR exercise ?

Yes the Siddhivinayak day rush is terrible . They wanted to target the Dsilva school children .

I get a feeling that due to that movie WEDNESDAY they have given this jawab , answer . It is now being called a BLOODY WEDNESDAY in the news . In the movie WEDNESDAY they showed a common man killing terrorists . So this sick answer . Besides it was kasab's birthday so they kind of commemorated it .

Hi Kools, Niki and others in Mumbai,

Am so glad to hear you all are fine. Hope all family members are okay. It's so unfortunate that there exists such thoughtless, and heartless people in this world, who think that violence will achieve anything, and that it's okay for the innocent to suffer and worse yet pay with their lives, for them to achieve some goal. Terrible, just terrible.

My thoughts and prayers are with those who were injured, and those who lost their lives. May their loved ones find solace in prayer.

I hate when people who are never concerned of our griviences like politicians talk abt the so called spirit of Mumbai 😡 we are so not by choice but by force, stupid people...

you cant safeguard us then better dont talk abt we cant stop attacks, you have to die 🤢

This was first time i witnissed such kind of thing, earlier for school I never travelled by trains, but when my clg started we we travel dadar in rush hours to get some space to stand in trains...I got lots of firing yesterday where was your cell, why didnt you contact etc from mom dad, this is pathetic...

till night we were calling each other if everybody reached home, friends relatives...

God give strength to everyone who is bearing the brunt ...
