i agree wid u... no doubt he gives effort and his 100% towards Archana...

bt isnt there small happiness getting affected like eating together and isnt that they r nt able to spend same amount of tym together?

Ali that is exactly my point . That this WILL happen . It happens in EVERY marraige . There is such a thing called a honeymoon period and then there is a point when REAL LIFE starts .

Initially there is a lot of these love notes on fridge and calls during the day etc . Later BOTH get busy in respective chores and the calls dwindle . there comes a time when sometimes one forgets to make a call even . One forgets to attend a Parent Teacher meeting , or a maaika function and tells simply ...U go . Buy the present u want , money is no object , But i wont be able to come . Here the wife simply HAS to understand is my firm opinion .

Why HAS to understand ? I will tell u why .

Coz this is the time HE [ the husband] is at the PEAK of his career . He is probably earning money that he has never earned before and may not later in old age . He NEEDS this space . He is doing this for the betterment of his family . NOT for himself . He is expressing his LOVE by this . Don't stop him or hamper him when he is doing that .UNDERSTAND him and LOVE him if u can . He is DYING to rest for a moment on his wife's lap without any KIchKich after a HARD DAY AT WORK .

Don't burden him with trivilalities and don't make him feel guilty . Simply BE THERE FOR HIM .

If he does a mistake in this tremendous work pressure load , try to forgive it . Don't hold it over his head .

For WHOM is he doing all this ? WHOM ? Wife and kids na ? Telling him that THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANT is the limit of insensitivity and silliness .

Chote Chote Sukh like before can easily be searched in the different other Sukhs that he throws before u ...What he wants is for the wife's face to light up by what he brings for her ...be it a car , a sari , a present for her maayka , ...He feels gratified when his efforts are APPRECIATED .

Give him what he wants na . Why be the Unsatisfied Hard faced woman who makes him feel guilty for the change .

Changing can be positive too . Has it ever struck Archana that NOT changing is unhealthy ? Her worship for sisters continues , she still talks to Manju , she STILL meddles in affairs that never were her concern instead of focussing on her life ...She does NOTHING constructive when Manav and Sachu r out of the house except visiting maayka.

Why should his change be held against him like a PAAP when the inability to change is HER drawback ? It beats me .

And by change I don't mean the inner self . The inner self never changes .

Public Transport ...if person is good , he may phone and return .Pray to Swami .

Snake is enjoying in backyard still .Im getting snake repellent like Tanya suggests ...she sent me link .
