Manish Malhotra s mother passes away.
Kools first I must say your commentary for both Saturday, yesterday and today were outstanding…it touched my heart and put a smile on my lips . But I didn't comment as I did not see those episodes then. But after seeing the episodes I don't feel that Manav was insensitive or anything like that. It was extremely real and strangely human, to me at least. Infact, under the circumstances how was Manav supposed to act. He has seen his mother go against his wife so many times, right, doing things to break his first marriage (true she changed and wanted Archana not to break the marriage but she did a lot of damage before that right?). Then he walks right into his mother room and what he hears, things against his wife, right. After, Sachu was found he again walks by and he sees his mom slapping his wife…Tell me which husband will not be upset with this turn of event. He is balancing 2 relationships that are most difficult to balance – what is he suppose to do ; say archana it is my mother so it is oK she slapped u…..not sure that will go well with anyone! Really can he be able to judge the situation at that moment….not sure any Man could….I know sions that are angry (and hurt) by their mothers so much that it takes them a long long time to analyze or understand all aspects of the situation. Things coming from loved ones are at times most difficult to accept or to forgive and it is just because it comes from the person who is so loved. Duties can be easily fulfilled, but hurt from a loved one is hard to digest. I see a man who feels venerable as his mom isn't accepting his love and he is in a cross road. After marriage he did come to his mom right, it was his mom who threw him out and went to the extent of going to his chawl to bad mouth his wife…..tough to accept if u ask me!
If you put all these situation one after another, who can blame him for the way he acted….found his point of view extremely true to a man's emotion. Men generally are too proud to show any emotion and that include their mothers too. I know one of the argument is that he is doing much more for his in-laws and Saalis then his own parents, right. But I could argue this is purely duty. But towards his parents it is not only duty but a much more complex emotion exist….it is emotion of being constantly being hurt, of his mother failing to understand his love of his life and accepting it….and I think these complex feeling can run very deep and sometime to a point, sons/men will turn a blind eye to the very person they love most….because in this situation he fails to understand (and men think very differently) why his Mom is not understanding him. So is the case here with Manav…..Now of course why did he preach to the strange couple about a mother's love right? Because he is far removed from the situation – does involves him and his emotion, rather he is a third neutral person….who can analyze what is wrong from the right….but the moment he is in the similar situation…he act different….because here two opposite emotion act simultaneously…he wants his mother to accept his love without bad mouthing it….he is under 2 opposing forces both that he loves so dearly that logic don't work…..I actual would have been surprised if he understood his mothers point of view at slapping moment especially after all that was shown between Archana and Savita…that couldn't have worked for me rather….rather this shows how different Men are handling relationship….my 2 cents.. So as long as Manav is shown to slowly realise that Mom is sick and he is responsible for it,,,I think I am ok with it....
I know I am a bit late with my comment…what to do too busy with kids and work😃

Hilarious commentary Kool, especially the rhymes. Loved them. Coming to the episode, what are the foolish trio going to do now? Vaishali and manav atleast have some brains, they want to take some action, even though it's late. Maybe, the chawl cats will continue to gossip if Vaishali leaves now- but are they planning to hide their faces in their kholi daily until they get bored and stop talking, or is Archana going to give a sermon and shame the chawl cats into shutting their mouths? And now they're going to continue this arrangement for society, what about Vaishu's and the baby's life? I cant wrap my head around their thinking. If Vaisali leaves, people will continue to gossip for some days and leave the topic when they find a newer, more interesting one. By continuing to have Vaishali there, the trio are giving new fodder to the gossip-mongers everyday. What ARE they planning to do about Vaishali? Good to see that they're being dragged to the streets, they've been and continue to be extremely foolish. Even after Vandita warned them about this when it first started, they could have avoided this foolishness. But no, Aai Archana is more interested in proving she's a woman who has implicit trust in her husband by subjecting him and her legally-in trouble sister to unnecessary rumors than in trying to help her sister. These people have no priorities whatsoever, and very weird, warped thinking.
And Savita going to fight the chawl cats tomorrow. Aren't the people who defend us even when we have differences the people who care for us the most? Everybody is on Manav's side now that he's having a business, but his mother never doubted his character, always defended him whether she was invited or not, manav liked her or not. It is quite possible, however, that ARMAN stop her from fighting or actually ask for forgiveness from the chawl cats on her behalf. Didnt they do that during the "lets find a solution" meeting for Dharmesh-Vaishali? And they're still not thinking of making up with Savita. If Manav would have felt sorry immediately after he told his mother to leave and tried to talk to her and make up, it would have redeemed him a little in my eyes. But nope, they have self-created unnecessary rumors to hide their foolish faces from. This is the height of stupidity I have seen in any leads so far-so consistently, foolishly stupid.
