Voting for Manav
For trying to tackle that painful dilemma which has become a gnawing source of anguish- to preserve his duty to his love or to placate a wrongful parent who is demanding an injustice in pretext of a filial duty unpaid. And maturely holding on to justice or sensitively handling that difficult parent. Really hard put to stay patient. Many years of weary load totted, in devotion to same parent and her other children, (oh yes, they were/are his siblings too), goes down the drain. Many years of disciplined self denials, in devotion to same parent or HER words, goes unacknowledged. Many years of (o.K. two) injustice meted to his love, in devotion to same parent, gets implied to be repeated. A few moments of supportive parentage (sparsely available from real ones, in forced and premature maturing) from sympathetic parents in law to be scoffed. And yet persevering to discharge a loving 'parenting' to a difficult parent!
Whether it is a temporary or permanent separation is not wat bothers me Di. Wat bothers me is why Manav has 2 chose? I have been living in an extended family all my life n even my great grand mothers r still here n i adore them. I understand family commitments, love n responsiblities. I've been seeing it all my life. I'm not saying that Manav shoud ignore/ overlook his mom 4 his wife. Such a situation shud never happen in a person's life. A mother is a mother n nobody can takes her place n looking after her is Manav's n Vandu's duty.
Archana is not only Manav's love she is his responsibilities. The girl left everything 4 him n stick 2 him through thick n thin. Manav has realised it n i can understand his not compromising about her.
Savita is sick n needs help n love/reassurance of his son that he cares 4 her n will stay with her but should he leave his wife under the responsibility of others 2 look after his mother? Well i dont agree
