Thank you Niki!
See I'm wondering about the same thing, even if it's the inner part of the paper and may be known to contain questionable information/sources, why would the editors consider the actions of a tv actor something to put in so much spotlight? Makes me rather suspicious.
And yes I too am happy we have our own thread here. 😆 Some of the people in the JDJ forum drive me crazy, but I resist from expressing myself, hard though it is. 😆

Okay TB, and Cutecherry I'll try to analyse in detail. These are only my observations.

First and foremost thing: People in Mumbai/metropolitan cities don't really vote a lot. 😆 They are much too engrossed and busy in their own hectic lives- plus there are too many reality shows now and to some extent people know that the shows are somewhat fixed.. A recent survey showed this trend. At least no one in my hostel votes. My relatives here also do not vote.

Secondly- yes, Times of India is a reputed paper and Bombay Times is a special paper within it- it has news of fashion, Bollywood, television plays and so on.

The previous article (Republic Day celebration) came in this SAME paper, but not on the front page.

Will this affect the rating?--- cannot say for sure. Slapping someone in rage cos of damage to car is not really the sort of behavior for which people would say Hawww...... some people do consider, most do not. It is something of a normal reaction- someone damaged your goods, you might have slapped them back too if you were in their shoes.

The biggest effect however is of the performances and what people see on screen. Even people have this general idea that media and newspapers spice up things a lot and are not totally reliable.

All said and done- Sushant is still a favourite in my hostel. He dances well and looks good and that is what people here are concerned with.

His acts so far have got a lot of praise. Yes, voting might go down cos of the news, but voting might also go up cos of the sympathy factor (I'm sorry to say this now- but I'm just stating facts) - his emotional act and breaking down on TV this week and the fact that this sweet boy doesn't have his mother can actually tug the heart strings of the audience.

Add to it that the audience will get to see Ankita kissing him. As it is, they are oh-so-popular. A large number of people watch this show only for their camarederie

So the bets on both sides are almost equal. Lets wait for next week.

Hope my long thesis was not very boring.

😆

U-know-who will come up very soon, just you wait and watch. I can already smell her with my super olfactory cells meant for sniffing out malicious Sushant haters. Nowadays I only report her articles- once the moderator gave her a warning and I understood that what she does (personal attacking without proofs) is wrong.

I have a feeling she may make an issue of Sushant crying on screen and Ankita kissing him. If she does so, I am gonna unleash my fury on her big time.

I thought u said that ur hostel gals vote..
hmm .. didnt know mumbai/metro cities dont vote a lot ... i am surprised .. i was assuming a lot of mumbaikars might be voting for ankita ..

Ya .. thats why i feel this performance is coming at the right time ..uh.. not that i wanna watch him cry .. 🤔 .. what people see might have a lot more impact than what they read in papers..

Niki nice analysis. Not at all boring. Well done

Surely Sushant's upcoming performance will make us cry.

You may think I am so weak or emotional, but while reading the article itself, when I read the line,he was emotional and told that his mother was not there to see how success he is,made me feel like crying,a lump in the throat came.

Surely his Break down and Anki's consoling will only make people feel for them.

Lunza they watch JDJ and comment on it- but they don't vote. I ask them to vote but they don't. Same at my relatives house.

I would like to clarify however that I cannot say this with confidence that Mumbai doesn't vote- what I'm stating are based on the survey I saw on news and the basic trends in reality shows- Maharashtrians seldom win even if they come in the finals. Also, my opinions are based more on subjective findings- based on what I observed in my hostel and relatives homes and my own home.

I may be grossly wrong... let me clarify at the outset itself.

Thank you🤗 nikitagmc for explaining it and it was not boring at all. i love reading ur posts, it's always worth it and just love the way you analyzise things. 👍🏼oh so it's like a section within a newspaper.🤔 but still mad at them for posting in the front page of that bombay times section😡 like if it's the shocking news hope what you are saying comes true and doesn't affect sushant's voting pattern.😃

and i think i know who you guyz are talking about 😆 miss u-know-who. i was wondering why he/she was not there to complain about it since he/she is the self-proclaimed no.1 sushita hater😆

and i am also so glad that we can discuss about some things here that we can't discuss there. it is getting so annoying how some people in that forum are so into hating sushita lyk seriously. my head was spinning when i was reading all those stupid comments. and i knew i was gonna lose my cool if i had joined the discussion but hatts off to u all sushita fans for defending sushant and debating with them sincerely👍🏼
