The interaction betw'n Manav and his PIL, MIL was surprisingly better crafted …some pertinent questions as well as the restraint by the questioned. In Manohar, I found rarest instance of 'consistency' by the writer…he is maintained true to his original etching (unless I missed somewhere in bet'n incident). His dialogues are refreshingly believable and his stand reasonable. And that's why, that other day i'd expressed discontent at Archana's failure to reach her father- in spite of the mother.

Friends, you may disagree/dislike this, but somehow I find 'Heroics' in rising above the 'self' and 'sacrifice' of the self respect in the hour of the need /at the demand of the need. For that is what the circumstances are extracting from him…He damn well knows the awaiting insults, the present undivided, gross contempt and unjustified injuries (slap parades) of the past. And yet he is judging the welfare of his wife above these all. She needs the available support as advised by the doctor. And when he can't produce 'miracle' overnight, he has to reach the 'help'. Besides he can't reach to his own mother ( as A…). It must require an iron heart to lower oneself so low knowingly…. Much though I dislike the whole track (with Archana's 'convenient' illness by Cvs.)…this is the silver lining of the track for me…pardon me please.
