@ Fifi: (gaassp) HOW did you guess?? 😊 Now WHAT could I POSSIBLY have said in the last year or so to have given that DARK secret away??
@ All else: the only very slim bright side of the current nonsensical misery is that the kind of conservative viewers who have always seen a woman as merely a zariya or conduit to heirs - with few rights of her own over that child - might possibly be encouraged to rethink their views. Childcare has, of course, always been primarily a mother's responsibility, and it is "acknowledged" that nobody can do a better job than she. (Which is to say: not many fathers really want to get into all those hassles, and most will admit with insouciance to a lack of patience that would be severely critiqued as "unnatural" or "selfish" in women.) The issue of rightful ownership of a child however - by mother as only surviving parent or by paternal grandparents as appropriately entitled blood family - is still one on which large numbers of rural or small town Indians may not judge in favour of the mother, even where the child is illegitimate, and especially when the father is no more. We must remember, as I never tire of saying, that educated and/or progressive people form a small minority of PR's huge audience.

Very true Hope. The whole show has made a mockery of every institution and human emotion.

And showing Savita taking Sachu away is the height of SADISM AND ABSURDITY.How can a mother part with her son so easily?? Would I part with my children if somebody would touch my feet or even offer me crores???

And regarding Savita, isn't she doing the same thing..separating a child from its mother? She complains that she has lost her son but she is forcing Shravni to go through the same situation.

The CVs bettter wake up and show that Shravni gets back her child. What are Women's organisations doing ? They must object to Savita's dialogues that a woman is looked upon as an instrument in her scheme in getting her son's child.

Sick. One would think Arman are some teenyboppers who have eloped from home before being majors. India is a free country .Why should Dhramesh come with the police to arrest them.Which dumbwit thought of this storyline????😡😡

Hope,
I agree to your post and loved the idea that you gave - that Shravani should instead invite Savita to live with her if she cannot live without her grandson. Savita would jump at this idea in fact!

... and I also feel that the CVs do not have anything else to show these days after they had Archu-Manav reunion.. the show seems to be dragging and whatever they are showing now is so silly and totally uncreative. Feels as if they have lost the "hold" on the show and struggling to keep their heads above water.

..probably time to end it while they have good TRPs rather than drag and make it pathetic like some of the other Zee shows before ending them ... (bcos Pavitra Rishtha has been "joined" now)

That scene just wanted to make me throw something heavy at the screen ..
Uff.. she made the best decision of her life by moving away from the D's .. now she has again gone two steps backwards by giving away her son ...
Maybe she has been infected by the Mahaanta bug from ArMan .. cant think of any other reason...

What was she thinking ? I hope damo takes back the kid to her, and gives her a dressing down ... and so does her father .

Please dont tell me the next track is savita getting back ArMan into the house to look after her grandson ...

Excellent post Hope....I wrote pretty similar in Niki's topic...
Why CVs are showing extreme decisions and situations...Why can't there be a solution which is more normal or in the middle of the two extremes??
They keep showing stupid decisions for TRP...Totally have made mockery out of this show...
I am just disgusted by it...Such a nonchallant attitude towards major issues of life..
Marriage into divorce, abortion, taking a child away from mother all for what????

Oh Hope, I want to give you a big hug for writing everything in my heart!!!!🤗

There are no Pavitra Rishtas in this story. Not even one. For TRP's sake, they have destroyed all the Pavitra Rishtas.

Todays episode was simply very bad. Shravani got sucked in for nothing. A most unbelievable track, followed simply to end Shravani's story.

Well, a most unnatural end indeed.

I said in my other post also, that this 'sacrifice' was as foolish as the 'sacrificial' decision to divorce. Both these sacrifices were done willingly and in sane mind. Nobody put a gun to the head of the characters..

If CV's want to show a sensitive mother, then they should have shown Shravani giving Savita-Damo visitation rights and being in good terms with them instead of the cold way in which she treated Savita today. ("Mera waqt met barbad kijiye')

As for Savita, she needs a counsellor currently as she seems to be reeling under an obsessive phenomenon.

One does not need to 'sacrifice' in life to be called a genuinely good person. All that is required is just basic sensitivity to understand others and react in a proper manner. Not by this- giving sacrifice of child.

ArMan regretted their divorce, very soon Shravani will regret that she gave away her child. I want her to get her child back ASAP without having to go through any humiliation or pain in the future.

excellent post Hope.. just my thought.. apparently according to the Cvs happiness and Love can be exhibited only by sacrificing your marriage , child such valuable entities.. just even i thought Cv have gone nuts showing arman on streets nd caves... they go 1 step further in stupidity and show that a mother gives up her child to pacify his grand mother.. how innovative.!!

I don't understand - DO THEY REALLY THINK THIS IS ENTERTAINING?

They must be losing their marbles.

I guess I should not be so surprised, these are the same nuts that seperated such a popular couple with such fan fare.

I guess this ridiculous track is Shibu's promotional present. Like the farcial divorce

I agree, if they think this is entertainment then they are the ones in need of counselling. Many of their storylines have been written in an unrealistic way. It is disappointing because they have a great cast but they are ruining PR by doing storylines like this.

Honestly , if this is the CV's idea to give shravani's track a "logical conclusion" then I dont want her track to be concluded !!!

Just when I think a "sacrifice" in the show cant get any more wackier , the CV's come up with something else and outdo themselves ..
