The panauthi marriage thing reminded me of my tamil gang here,and their discussions.We used to love tam movies,,1 was pretty much PR like story.Actually there r quite a few movies based on PR type story in hindi 2,tis not a new subject.This particular movie got awards to both the protagonists and the 2nd wife.And the screenplay was awesome.I think shibu saw it with sub-titles and filled in quite a few of the lang gaps with her rubbish losers have someone special for them her FB theme😆😆
In the movie,all 3 act normal,no blame games,no guilt,no justification in climax - the couple separates amicably,gets married to others,even have baby each & r not in touch,disaster strikes one and her hubby dies,the guy spots her desolate with child,brings her home and makes her housekeeper.2nd wife does not know shez the ex - the protagonists r platonic,pretty much the 3 r together when home but 2nd wife feels the tension-she spies but finds they r not adulterous,she is observing.She then comes to know thru relatives who visit abt the 2 - the protagonists still behave as usual,but everybody senses something.2nd wife is still observing,goes 2 wrk,treats the ex well,hubby seems to be in normal routine - but she sees him playin with ex's kid,she decides to talk.So superb,somebody translate to shibu.2nd wife no screaming,not a word to ex,does not even invite her to conversation,cries to hubby and tells her feelings,see here she is jealous,insecure this moment,but does no blaming -but asks him to talk his feelings.His speech superb - he talks abt wat love can do,for him his first love.Yes,that love is there,it does not die.She questions protagonist,she tells her same thing - but protagonist points out -why shud we reunite,when the v thorny issue that made us separate still exists.V v pertinent question.Marriage=Love =>No
The theme discusses that marriage itself can be a grey relationship
The 3 discuss abt marriage=give,take,expectation of,from and to individuals,coz the foundations r more than 1 - commitment,trust,love etc.They pt out that marriage comes with rules but love does not,it happens.So love is unadulterated,its pure essence ,and can be an invisible bond always.
hubby says he gives commitment,expects commitment but loves his first love.He does not talk abt his love for the 2nd wife,neither confirms nor denies.
2nd wife says she gives love and commitment,expects commitment and love.
ex says she gives love and no commitment -says this -why shud we reunite just bcoz we love,when the v thorny issue that made us separate still exists.The same misery wud return,marriage is supposed to be of constructive purpose to both the parties,even if 1 is dissatisfied and there is a stalemate,it creates more miseries than even the separation.Its worse to have and still not have.It wud create disrespect,maybe hatred,maybe change their v char.The stalemate has to be resolved which hubby says its 2 late.Dialogues in tamil r v good.
2nd wife then accepts that she knows them and respects them,hence their stand,so she wont suspect anymore and nobody is to be blamed,everybody is laid their cards honestly and chooses to stay,fully aware wat she gets and does not,they continue as bfor-no banishment,no walk out,no obtruse drama,nothing.If she had walked out,it wud still be right,she stayed accepting the grey in the marriage.
I can see tomatoes coming - but I remember 1 person asked this and I even kept it in PM,why in these discussions she felt that even being abroad,ppl here seem to be more conservative,and I find youngsters in India more modern in terms of viewing relationships,she even pointed out a few words.
Archu's stand on her marriage seems to be that of the protagonist and I think her EMOTIONS MATTER.She clearly said to shravs when she came back and shravs was packing her bags -Manav gave u my spot in this house,so u shall stay and I will leave.On the day bfor divorce,he says that she is his love but not commitment.The love requires no justification,love is an emotion not an institution.She sees no stalemate resolution,he is so resolute.What does anybody here envision positive wud have happened if she had said no?After a while,even if 1 party insists on the divorce,the court will give it eventually.
Thatz why ArMan fans were angry with Manav for the divorce.
But when shravs ran away,mannu had forgotten her as zimma watever,I think archu shud have accepted the marriage.She made the unpardonable sin of caring for the uncaring.Girish was no where near that station,like he wanted to adopt only Archu😆ArMan fans were angry with Archu😆
Manav gives commitment to 1 love to another.He clearly spelled both parts to both women.Nothing to discuss or debate here😆
Now shravs is giving 100% but expects 100%-if manav does not comply,she shoots others.And gets shot by others for it😆
Jay's stand ,I dont know whether he loves archu,watz with those sudden lovey looks,they r starting to look like that essence,I was expecting checkitouts😆-but he thinks marriage is buy 1 get 1 free-buy the commitment,the love is free.😆I dont think he will break the engagement even after jail,he will want to trap her in marriage more,he is the ensnaring kind bfor unleashin anything.Ks will touch his feet then,thanking this new Bhagwan😆
