They are even - he is not forcing anybody here,he did not throw her out or insult her - they r both being cordial to each other,and stand for their own interests.It is savita who says one thing and does another.

As Usha pointed out,Damo's problem is he is not being the man of the house -he is not talking to Girish nor controlling savita or giving Manav commands like savita does
Actually only Damo can make Girish and Shravs realize that savita will take them for a ride for her selfish needs
