Maha Episode for Ganeshji...went wrong...

OK this may sound a bit orthodox or traditional. But how many of you felt it was weird that people were dancing to love/romantic tunes while Ganeshji was in the back pretty much ignored??? I was truly and honestly very upset with the whole thing. It started it off great. Archu and Varsha and them did a great job. But after that it was all love songs. It wasn't a regular function that any old bollywood song would have been ok. I think in my opinion it should have been a mixture of some famous marathi songs and GANESHJI songs, because that was what it was all about. Please tell me the connection between "kurbaan hua" and Ganesh chaturthi????? I was very offened and disappointed. I am all for bollywood shows and dance and stuff..............but this time...it felt very innappropriate, disrespectful, out of place and disgusting. Sorry for all the people that enjoyed it......no offense....but I hated it. I didn't watch last year, so don' t know what they did.......but if they did the same thing like this year...then I won't be watching next year. I turned it off in middle of Guri and Rudra's act anyway. I couldn't watch it........

Felt the same......except for DID performance and Deva re Deva.....none of the dance performances were either suited or appropriate. ArMan could have done a beautiful celebration dance......manav could have dreamt doing a celebration dance with archana. Iqbal-Binny n the other actors weren't even required.....god knows why they got them. I actually was bored watching their performances.

Exactly why did they have to dream they were dancing. Y couldn't all four do one, the so called to be newly weds. There are plenty of good Ganesh Chaturti songs. Anyone of them could have been done. "Archna and Manav to dance on public demand".....this I think is all fake and it was just to raise TRPs. And even if it was true, all we wanted was them to dance together right?.........not with each other.............so i don't understand y it had to be a romantic number?? It turned to Valentine's Day instead...

i agree...they cud have performed all the dance acts in a different location n kept the aarti's,poojas n Ganpati song infront of the idol...it luked odd ,in my opinion. i believe there is a place n time wen u don't hav to cross th boundary😃....

Teacher ..it does happen here in usa temple..near where i live..they do all these film songs infront of god..where there is a stage during these festivals🤓

Pavitra Rishta has taken such turns that its no longer Pavitra by any means. They even showed how low they can go with the Maha Episode. I truly was insulted and I am sure many of you were. I wish some of our emails or letters about the Maha episode can get to EKTA!!! not the CVs or anyone. I mean it was total trash except the first few acts. She needs some lessons in respect and indian traditions.
