I was waiting for Tulsey's reply all day . She feels that the redundancy should have been announced to the workers in a calm proper manner with good redundancy package ....
I also felt that and that is why gave my vote to Manav for speaking up...Though I feel that he has a bad temper once he gets very angry ....

Any company that employs more than a certain number of people has to give out provident fund, gratuity etc. There was no word from D on all these when he showed his workers the door.
And why has the axe fallen on Manav who has been shown as hardworking, decent and honest? This is more vengeance than business interest. And talking of business interest and professionalism, why is manav with his skills and experience at the bottom most rung while school pass archana with a dubious once-year course finds herself placed just next to the directors in hierarchy? What kind of madcap company fires a good worker but pampers someone with no tested qualities? Dharmesh & in laws co ltd is the worst example in professionalism. D ought to have himself compensated Ajith for his accident. It is no good going to temples and holding pujas and distributing laddoos to your endless in-laws if you cannot show even an ounce of compassion to your workers.
If D values cold and calculating Jay over straightforward and honest manav, that is surely his ruin. Because while jay may bring in the moolah in the short-run, his long-term plan is takeover of the company.

excellent post . I agree with every word here ..
I wanted someone to throw some light on the Indian Labour Law ....
Of course Dharmesh can make his workers redundant ....but there are rules to do something like that ..
I still feel that those rules were not followed ..
Redundancy is probably the toughest thing that can ever happen to a man ...
My cousin used to work in a finance company as a wise president of the company and he was made redundant ...when he was told about this , his bosses were the ones who tld him and in the room , a professional psychologist was present as well......
I know manav and Ajit were just labourers ....but the was the announcement was dumped on them seemed very cold and very ruthless...
And yes, all along manav has been shown as a very good technician ....I feel Dharmesh just does not likes him any more...Espacially after fixing Archana's rishta with Jaywant ..
I will not be surprised if he gives an ultimatum to the karanjkar family now ....Chose between him and me ...Either stay in touch with him or keep relations with me ...
Any friend of his has nothing to do with me or my susral ....
Of course the whole karanjkar family will do as he says ...all but Archana of course ....
I think she will go against her family for Manav ..
Vishwap told me that this track happened in the original version so can happen here also ...

I dont agree with vidyasu or Tulsey.
@Tulsey:
Dharmesh is fair enough to compensate as per law.He never said he wont compensate. When there are hundreds of workers working, normally this is the way companies announce redundancy.
I know only about some Indian companies, not sure what happens in US though.
Having said that,CVs have not taken any care to show real scenarios. In reality, ppl like Manav wud just end up in hospitals for all anyone cares...with adequate compensation.
@vidyasu:
I know Indian labour law is strict.Whatever comes under it too.
Dharmesh had no use for Manav bcoz of the machines but he needs a supervisor anyway.
Its not only Archana,he employed Ajit too on recommendation. He feels Archana has the dedication that is needed for his company where as Manavs' expertise is not anymore needed. What has that got ot do with professionalism? And professional people recruit freshers too....without any prior experience. That doesnt make them unprofessional.

As for cold and calculative Jay goes,he is by far the most imp asset of the company. His intentions ,whatever they are, dont matter. His work and performance does.He calculates as he is ruthlessly ambitious but hav we ever seen him misusing his power or neglecting his work.
Its not fair to compare him with Manav as he has been portrayed as this good and emotional human being.
Compare Manavs' work with Jaywants'.Manav may be honest, hardworking but fact is company doesnt need his expertise at this point. So why shud he be employed?Bcoz he's honest.Sorry.dont agree at all.Every honest person is not a manager or a CEO.

I could go on and on to describe how a real company works. But it doesnt matter as normally we,viewers are involved only emotionally and CVs try to satisfy our emotional need by showing hero fighting out injustice.
Btwn, liking the new montage of ArMan😆.

never heard of someone with zero experience and near-zero qualifications getting hired right at the top -- except where it is a case of nepotism. and that is exactly my point. Arbitrary appointments do happen in chacha- bathija companies but D here is shown as shrewd, business-like and professional. Yet he did not utter a word about compensation, provident fund etc -- I doubt his company has a PF account. He simply said he has given the retrenched men time to find another job -- as if that is a great favour and not statutory law. The previous time he fired manav, he cooly turned him out without even a day's notice. Workers found to have breached discipline -- which was the case then -- are usually suspended with a departmenal enquiry against them. And during the period of suspension, they are on 50 per cent wages. Of course, PR land has its own illogic.
Ajit was hired as a worker, not as a manager, and D resented the fact, so showed him out at the first opportunity. There is still the mystery of Prakash -- proven beyond doubt to be a meanie -- finding favour with D. Why was his expertise not dispensed with in view of the incoming supermachine?

Great going GM,very professional👏😳Double bonus for u 2de😆😆1 closeup pic with Sushita for ur avi😍
Vidyasu - welcome back🤗Hope ur enjoyin being here, everybody is v keen to know the details of labor laws from u,thanks,u gave a v insightful account.
Still, agree with GM that Manav being honest does'nt make Jaywant to be dishonest.Jay wanting to become partner is not dishonesty it is rightful ambition, and if combined with hard work, then why not?
But I agree with u that the way the news was delivered was incorrect - there were huge violent problems in Gurgaon at the Hondas or something, when the mgt was tryin to lay off - it requires tact and unfortunately,Dhammu lacks tact - this is where satish cud step in,but satish is doin satyanash of his own company
Actually, only Jay can solve this peacefully as he is closest to the workers but Manav has a personal thingy with him now and will make it difficult😕I hope Jay doesnt resort to underhandedness to neutralize Manav,he knows PrattyPraks has gunda connections😲

great commentary kool...see am telling u they are making dharmu look like maha-villian wid all the pet par laat maro dialogues coz the creatives do not understand the idea of a PRACTICAL character..either the character has to be a doormat or a bhagwan or else a meanie rapist like erstwhile ajit..now rasika is also being redeemed..so spot for villains is to be filled wid dharmu and jai...pity i tell u coz they make SO mush more sense thn archu or manav...gimme an attitude (not evilness) any day as compared to hypocrytic bhagwanness..
and btw,i liketh idea of manav FINALLY growing a spine for himself...like the angry manav much more thn simpering manav..
archu has to stop being so confused and stubborn in life...jai's mom is completely right..and archu is wrong..period..wid wat attitude is she saying her "rishta" wid manav will not break..wake up and smell the coffee darling..ur "rishta" dsnt exist...

Thats na saffy...hondas in gurgaon. That was a big company having thousands of workers.
Dharmeshs' is only a small one with handful of workers. To top it,Archu made a mess of delivering the notice.Supervisors just go and ask the workers to stand in attention and announce the notice to the circle of workers. Then he/she stands to answer and discuss the issues.Obviously workers will resent, but not only one like Manav😆...they do discuss among themselves and put up a united stand....not one bhagwan fighting it with the boss by giving him gaalis. That is just so disrespectful.😆
What to say....ppl shud just enjoy Bhagwan fighting it out ,supposedly heroically.😆....to expect more from this crappy a show is vry stupid.
