But what irks me is that Manav is going scot free
KoolDi,I strongly disagree with you on ur manav stand -demand poetic justice here for him.He is the one who is the weakest link - HE CANNOT COMMIT - neither to Archana that he has nothing to do with her(whatz the reason to go and cook and do foo foo with her mom also at vaishu's wedding?)Arey, what was he interfering there for?? same reasons that r applicable to why archu went to the D house 2de
I am not supporting Archu, but as an indian woman I understand her weakness,it is the pativrata drilling in our culture - she said that to manav when he signed the divorce papers that for me,my 'chita' shud only separate me from u-ok,right now physical separation is not her problem, she is meaning it in a metastatic way(whatever that means,I insert bull whenever possible😆)
And as a middle class woman who does not have enuf good examples of success without a man in life,I understand Shravni's weakness too - she finds her not-virgin obvious(due to baby) status as a fear factor-yet another indian woman middle class culture issue here
Our culture beats its chest that the ultimate success for any woman is success in marriage - even if she was the CEO of a company - sorry ladies,u r lucky(and my duas for u good souls always) to be well married but I know many who r not and the worst dose they get is,how unlucky they r not to have a husband - this is the only factor for sympathising with Shravni from my pov
I see the root of the problem for both are their parents - Girish is doing what Sulo shud she have done and Sulo is doing what Girish shud have done- Archu shud never have left MAnav during both the issues(SNPooja and her wedding day),stayed at the D house for a final solution -whether the marriage was a real one or not-by staying away physically, she caused the greatest
harm to the relationship -but Sulo made her do it
For me Girish is as bad as a pimp for what he is doing with his gal, nothing more to say-earning his self-respect instead of money here, thatz all
There is really no solution here until these 2 gals get their sanskaars right, and outside their families here - and I want to commend KoolDi and TanyaDi (all those who take the time to comment thoughtfully) that perhaps someday some Archu or Shrav reads ur posts, and gets the fuzz out of her mind, ajar mile aap sab ko
Ciao ladies,me dont like to think too much, and sometimes PR really hurts the head I say even with all its emptyness
