I was telling Kools when I first joined the forum my favourite season in Indian is monsoons - season of love - garma garam chai- bhajjia vada pado, pakora, blanket - best of all after monsoon India always sees a new fasal of babies😉😆😆😆

the poem brings back fond memories. my sis has a preschool in mumbai and I used to teach there and when I did I used to teach the kids this poem

varshu, upto grade 6 I used to converse daily in gujurati. because I hung out a lot with a girl in my nieghbourhood but since then I stopped. now can understand gujurati well but cannot speak

marathi is a little better.

mumbai si so unique. in my neighbourhood only I have grown up aroung gujjus, maharashtrians, bhaiyyas, punjabis, east indians, anglos, (few bengalis though) but what a mix, eh? total dhamal. each custom is unique. households are different. foods are amazing😃😃😃😃😃. wow mumbai sarka aani kutlha zhaga nahi, kai mhante tu?😃😃

I noticed ur threa. have been off forum more than on in last few weeks. I will check yours shikhar's ometime today and make comments ok. also need to check nikkis. she did one on manav being a vampire. I usually press like when I am busy and then drop in comments later.

I am going to note this so no one worries unnecessarily on my behalf.

when I said I was sick I meant injured.

Ii don't have fever or anything but need to take bed rest.

I did something stupid yesterday - a kind of exercise and I ripped something internally.

I had this problem three years ago and at that time they could not figure out what I had done so they spent a lot of time doing biopsy and tests etc. finally they figured out it was an internal rupture and I was prescribed bed rest. that time it had been going on for days so it took a few days to heal

this time I thought that after three years everything would be ok so I tried the same exercise again and voila immediately at the end of the exercize I was back at square one. I have been in bed from yesterday evening as soon as I came home. I did not see any epis or anything as the computer is far from bed. jeeju is very very angry with me. 😆😆 so I am behaving like a good girl and staying in bed. before he brings out the whip (mumbai ishtyle). just got up for morning tea and so decided to come here and post. whatever damaged i caused seems to be better. i will continue with bed rest for today so tomorrow I can go back to work rather than the doc's office😳😆

anyways, I am taking my laptop to bed with me today so when I can will come online at different intervals.😃😃😃

yup usha. learnt my lesson. jeeju will kill me then divorce me and remarry a wicked woman to step mother my kids so my soul never rests in peace - if I do that exercise again.

guys, watched taare zameen par last night. amazing. seemed so realistic. the boys stife I meant. those mean strict teachers brought back horrible memories of cjild hood days. loved two Aamir scongs. the painting aamir does of the boy at the end is awesome. wish someone painted me like that😃😃😃😃
