Sometimes I wonder if Ekta gets into my mind and reads my innermost thoughts and then does exactly opposite to what I want.

Whenever I read that today Satish did this and that- I think- this was what our old Manav would have done!

Fact is- she has given all of Manav's good points to Satish. When the story started, Satish was introduced as the perfect groom for any girl, and Manav as the doormat. Yet unconsciously, Manav was the hero and Satish was,, okay not zero, but he wasn't the perfect husband Bappa had envisioned for Archana- his best devotee.

And now, what a role reversal!!! The concept of the serial is ruined now, since the serial goes on to give the invisible message that Archana actually ruined her life by marrying Manav. She should have got married to Satish when she had the chance. She was a fool.

The love story is over. The title song is meaningless.


For some strange reason, I never liked Satish. I don't why- he was TOOOOO perfect, almost surreal. I still don't like him- God knows why? Manav, as they introduced him, seemed a doormat, his life wasn't perfect at all... yet he touched the chord of everyone due to his sweetness and shy, egoless behavior. Even that inferiority complex, that shyness was appealing- it was the mark of someone who was simple and considered the whole world simple as well. I would have loved to see the story showing him developing confidence in life and becoming strong for the sake of his love- a sort of 'slumdog millionaire', a 'cindrella' story.

But now all is lost... ALL IS LOST.
