Konkan is beautiful in the rains . Pen , Kamshet , the entire Konkan strip with its red roads and green foliage on the sides is beautiful . Mangoes r discarded after the rains by Konkni people and jackruits stop growing .

My wish however is to go to Narsoba Waadi .......a temple of Lord Dattatreya beyond Miraj and Kolhapur . The temple is on the banks of the river Krishna [ it is a stony stepped ghaat] and in the rainy season the water rises and the temple goes under water and remains immersed . There is no idol just two footprints on a black slab of stone and they remain immersed in the water . Water does not flood the village and pooja of the lOrd continues in a smaller temple above .The water then recedes and kaadha is poured over the Lords swollen footprints among mantraghosh .Sick people with uncurable diseases come to take this kaadha then distributed as prasad .

It is here I wish to go , have been to Waadi many times as it is my shraddhasthaan but I want to see the Lord once in the rainy season . He who takes the water on himself and protects his children , I want to see him in that roop , then .😊

Nickita , as you know I run a thread of Star of the day ... I also count who ever won the most in that month and then that character is the Star of the month . The way things are going , there is every reason to believe that either satish or savita will be the Star of the month of June ...as they are getting voted the most.

How things have changed in PR ....

This is nothing Kools. I'll tell you what is true hostel mentality- when someone says I'm giving an ice-cream treat, then the others don't eat dinner or eat less and then gorge only on ice-creams- five, six, seven , whatever.😆
Specially the guys. That is why, my friend told that he is giving ice-cream treat AFTER we had dinner. Clever guy!😉

You read my post in Hope's ramblings na Di? For some unknown reason, I never liked Satish. He always seems very boring to me. MAnav (old Manav) on the other hand was more interesting- he used to keep shying and that would make me laugh. If I had a guy like him, I would have teased him a lot, just to see him shy away.😉 It seemed as if babying him would be so much fun.😆

And that nautanki Savita, I have zero sympathy for her. Giving others guilt trips all the time. Selfish lady!
