In Ekta kapoor shows .........marraige is made a mockery of . Both Karan Johar and she r unmarried , young , and succesful and both use that power and the immaturity of their youth to show western concepts in an indianized way

The ladies will WEAR saris and SLEEP in saris but there will be hazaar seperations , divorces , remarraiges and illegitimate children and past lovers . The Indian culture is actually not so much in saris but in ACTIONS............which she doesnt understand . See how easily she broke up Archu Manav , will make Shravni die or comatose and then REMARRY them with mantras in the background on a grand scale. Her own rich upbringing is reflected in the CONSTANT parties in her serials . All the members gather in parties and tamashas take place .

I dont mind if she shows heroines in jeans .........what she shud show is they r married for LIFe and dont believe in divorce ............or bigamy as shown in PR .PR showed bigamy and divorce BOTH . Indian Nari can wear jeans ....what Indian NARI wont do is give up on her marraige to humor a hussy and her weak husband who took impulsive decisions . Archu wears sari and acts like a Westernized heroine .so does Manav .Let us be good friends ....we have something that cannot just go away ......see these lines .Sound familiar ? Western concepts.

And thats what she is MAAHIR at ..........showing WEstern concepts cloaked in Indian garbs .

I totally agree with u abt Ekta. Even though I didnt like Kabhi alvida na kehna, it was based on reality. a lot of marriages r like that. The only difference is that the partners r not ok with the relation at the end😆

Ekta needs to get married to understand marriage. One can never know what marriage is until they get married nd every person has a different experience with marriage.
