I believe the Common App and its school-specific supplements release in July, so I'll start filling them out then to be submitted in the fall/winter.

They use my lipstick to draw blood trickling from their lips . And they sleep hearing GHOST stories , not fairy tales . With glee .

It would be lovely to go to an Ivy League school, but I don't want to get my hopes too high only to have them dashed, because they are rejecting people like crazy now. I would hope that I have the right credentials: class rank fluctuates between 5-7 (out of 600 in my class at a rather elite high school), debate team president, member of three versions of National Honor Society (the normal one as well as French and Art), multiple community service projects, etc, but you never know what they really want. If all else fails I'll just use the Texas Top 8% Law and pick a public university.

Me too, I think it went well, except I tripped as soon as I got there and was in pain the whole time (and still am) as I pretty much killed my left foot and murdered my right ankle.

I still think they're adorable. They seem to have nice imaginations. I was obsessed with Barbie and Barney as a child of the '90s, but witches, vampires, and ghosts are quite vogue now for children. I was always scared of ghost stories though. Once my cousin was telling me one and my grandfather walked in wearing all white while hitting a bottle of powder which created a huge white cloud around him (totally unplanned) and I completely freaked out. 😆
