ha ha ha....looking at that scene now...my interpretation is that he knows manju is kinda evil..she did bad stuff..to him and archana and even her in-laws, yet, her mom in law treats her so well, unlike archana who is so good..dont have a bad bone and is abused so much..and when he closed his eyes...it reminded me of when vandu slapped archana...a combination of pain and anger....he was hurting ...

On another note: I have seen other dance's of Sushants. his DID performance was subpar for me. I did not comment on the DID thread for this reason. You are so right about the energy and passion reuired for any latin dance. The music itself inspires and requires passion, sexual tension, chemistry and a kind of aggression on the part of the male lead. he lacked all of these. Latin male dancers are supposed to come off looking macho otherwise they might as well be doing the jitterbug or jives. its fast paced too. Sad. not sure if his performacne was because he was tired or because he was dancing with a girl other than Ankita (his regular partner.

I dabble in Salsa. In fact I love to dance. My experience has been that if you have your regular partner and the right music, tiredness does not affect your performance. it folows out of habit.

You are so right Hope...the one word for latin dance is "passion".....and u hit the nail on the head..latin music just inspires u...i love to watch it but i cant do it..it is too fast pace ...when u watch ppl dancing to latin music...they always look "over happy"...always smiling/full of energy ...also, u have to be relaxed...manav takes his performances too serious...unlike archana which is y she comes across as a better dancer..she flows easily...she looks like she is just enjoying....with no pressure...

Not sure if it was cause of diff partner , he did some sexy moves with his her that i never really saw him doing with archana....he needs to relax and just enjoy and he will be a great dancer....

OK, I'm not a dancer of any kind except the enthusiastic wedding sangeet-baarati variety. 😊 While I agree that Ankita is more relaxed and generally more pleasant to watch, though her expressions were good today I didn't find her "dancing" per se to my taste at all. I think Sushant doesn't look as lightfooted as he might (because his large backside weighs him down??) and you're both right about the fact that he tries too hard to dance as hot as he looks, which is a no-no. But I do think there was some chemistry there and the compere picked it up.

Correct on every point...exceptttttt for the backside....it is large but lots of dancers have that..ha ha ha..so laughing....but seriously, should sushant just relax and enjoy and not take it so serious he will be top...

Yep, chemistry with his partner was evident...so i wont blame the change of partner..he seemed very comfy dancing with her..

Is it cause Ankita's dance was unusual that u did not like it?
