That's correct, there is nothing wrong in moving on, pregnant or not pregnant, if your husband/fiance is dead. But under the circumstances that Manav agreed to marry Shravani when he was heading for divorce with his wife, owing to a misunderstanding which got rectified later and his wife had wanted to come back to Manav, isn't it fundamentally wrong for Shravani to disregard Archana's right and proclaim her love in this manner, while being fully aware of the circumstances and reason why Manav is marrying her and being aware that ArMan love each other. If she wants to marry Manav to secure her and her child's future it is understandable. But to be vicious towards a person (Archana), who is doing sacrifice for sake of Shravani and her child, is also unethical.

Well said; goes to show she's shoving herself on Manav and exerting her "rights" on him that are more a figment of her immagination. Securing her child's future is one thing, but does she have to marry him to get it? Everyone knows she is carrying an illegitimate child so she's not marrying to save face or izzat.

You know the premise of a young, pregnant woman losing her fiance' due to his untimely death, marrying the older brother to keep child/family intact is not bad really. In fact, it would even be a good plot for a serial. They could show how they marry for the child/family, practical reasons, but eventually fall in love with each other.

BUT in PR's case, it's fundamentally wrong as the older brother is married and in love w/ his wife and the pregnant woman forgets the love for her baby daddy and imagines herself in love with the older brother, in a matter of months. And then pregnant woman irrationally hates the wife for coming in between herself and the older brother. Because she doesn't realize that she, the pregnant woman, is the obstacle keeping the husband/wife apart! PR is messed up!

I too find this really absurd. How can she fall in love with manav so fast? Earlier she used to say "main sachin ke bachekeliye jeena chahti hoon.......blah blah. And now she totally forgot sachin & shes fighting with archana to marry sachins elder brother. Was her love for sachin true???

Why does she need to do that? She's still part of the family unless she is viewed as property or that the family fears that they will lose ownership of the children? The children are the mother's and she should not feel obligated or pressured to marry her brother in law. It is very disgusting to look at someone who is your brother in a sexual manner. There is nothing romantic about it at all.

I just find the whole rationale of falling in love with Manav period GROSS.

I'm not saying she has to do that, but that the possibility of this type of situation happening is not totally off-base. She could just as easy support her child herself and eventually marry or not, as she sees fit, IF she lives in such a society where such independence is allowed. Not growing up in India, even I know this is not the case for the majority of women. Most young women do as their elders suggest, or order them to.

i think actually she jealous with Arman. she didn't love him until archana went Manav's home and wanted to live there till their divorce. then, seen them together and their love for each other, she is completely jealous with Archana.

Just because something is done in India does not make the practice OK. Societies that support this practice should seriously think about what is does to the woman and the man in question. Often they are not left with much choice and are "forced" into liking each other. Pretty an appalling practice.

Sometimes people are confused with their emotions.
They might like someone and respect them and on top of that the whole fear of loosing the only support makes her think that she is in love with manav.
