Agree with u C except that the character Archna simply doesn't have the brains to figure this out . The creatives r purposefully creating the situation to highlight the two women but Archu as a character lacks the brains to think this is the best way to win her man back . Today they showed her telling Manav I have the highest respect for SAvita . The very same Savita who did her character assasination in her office and called Manohar as AIE ! ;
It is the pathetic attempt of the regressive creatives to show that Shakkar philosophy WORKS.

Kool, I love the names you find for the characters 😆
I totally agree with you! Satish looked adorable today! He's so in love with Varsha, I just hope after marriage he and Varsha will continue to be themselves and not become like ArMan who let people walk all over them!
Archana, so what if Savita was kind to her for one night? How does that make up for all the insults or the way she repeatedly threw Archana out of her house? She seems glutton for punishment, when she speaks that way it becomes hard to feel sorry for her. She's being foolish!
Another foolish person is Manav, he allowed Shravani to scold him for going out with his wife. It was frustrating to watch!!

See Kool for Archana type girls, sasuraal is sab kuch.. the moment they are married, saas-sasoor take precedence over aai-baba and sasooral over maayka.
Savita is moohphat , greedy and wicked and she just does not understand these Archana types.. she thinks whatever Arch doing is all 'aadarsh bahu drama' and she has some ulterior motive.. afterall how can a person tolerate so much and no word of complain ? even Savita is puzzled many times..
The sad part about this character is she is letting her husband go to some other woman.. that is just unbearable.. to hell with his noble cause.. she should have just told Sharvani that you bake the cake and i will take care of it.. no worries..
I am honestly tired of this 'Mr. One Month' and 'Ms. Janmajanmantar' ka never ending saga. the bus/rikshaw stop scene was so dry... urgh... . In Dam baba's words..Inka kuch nahi hone wala ..

It is getting harder by the day to assess archana...so love what you said about she being a "glutton for punishment"....lol...i think she has gotten immune to insults and abuse..archana is complicated, confused...anddddddd many more adjectives could be attributed to her.....i just cant figure her out....
manav ....well what can i say....i think he is a weak person but i wonder...this guy is simply overwhelmed...by his mom, his so call responsibility to a postal future wife, his love for his present wife, his sister's sudden insanity, his garage, taking care of his home....jeezzzzzz...he cant be weak.....then what?...i have no idea....
shravani....no comment....oh yea...abusive...i think another "tiger wife" in the making..ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..

yes, i understand him feeling weak to represent archana in front of savita aai....but not shravani..my blood boils with that..
i so hope this upcoming track dont spoil PR....I had loved another Zee soap as much and at one point more than PR (that long name one..lol) but cause of one silly track i dont even read the updates now...USA is way behind...i just hope PR does not go down that road...but....i wont hold my breath...it's only the chemistry between the lead actors(offscreen chem) that is holding my attention..love to watch them on sbs and stuff like that...but CR's spoiling a good show...

think about what Manav likes: definitely not this paranoid, possessive, shrieking, shrewish creature Shravani's turning out to be. There was give-me-a-break distaste and annoyance on his face. Things couldn't be going any better for Archana on the Shravani front if she had sat down and planned them. Shravani, for whom Manav's giving up the love of his life and taking on his brother's baby, is yelling about not being treated right. And in contrast, Archana, who he knows has been genuinely wronged, is spouting the virtues of his mother, a mother even he's begun to realize is really an awful harpy. Perhaps Archana isn't actually as dumb and submissive as the creatives want us to think she is? This is, after all, the smartest way to get him back, isn't it ? Create situations where Shravani appears at her worst, and meanwhile convince Manav that she herself is a long-suffering saint, willing to live with - no, also love and respect - his mother, in spite of all that woman's ill deeds? what she's doing now would have been absolutely the ideal way to win back a man like Manav.) No? 😆

Nice post C, most of it reflects my POV too. Archana is winning them all back including Manav but without trying and without keeping that intention in her mind. Its her innate goodness that everyones attracted to. She is full of love and compassion for others. She is a woman who is not capable of hating anyone. I don't know why did you think Creatives want us to think that Archana is dumb. Archana never came across as a dumb person to me.
I've told this before, what Archana has achieved ( even after taking blame for Sachin's death) was an impossible task for any other woman. Talking back to Savita, fighting for her rights and with 'eye for an eye' philosophy could not hv achieved all this. Most of us would have given up on such relationship and took an easy way out i.e. divorce (Ok she is also heading for divorce but if Shravani was not in picture then she would be back with Manav by now). Its very easy to break relation but it takes lots of courage and edurance to maintain a relation that was once broken.

Its a feeling like why is he with her, whats so special in her etc. Etc. Et. And thats where i think that girl like Archana are rare and different. It doesnt matter to MISS PREGNANT whether he loves her or not but its enough for her that she loves him and is getting married to him WHATEVER THE REASONS. Uff, i got tired.

Thats why we criticizing Shravani's character. Being in love does not give you license to behave irrationally and insesitively. People who have extra-marital affairs are perhaps also in love so can they be justified by saying that they are in love? And Manav is not with any other girl, Archana is his wife. If anyone has right to get jealous then it has tobe Archana not Shravani.

This 3 moths drama and torture is only to bring them together. God is there and he will not let any wrong thing happen. Its upto you to understand. Lol.

I think what u mean is ekta mai ( and her creative team of courtiers) is there to set things right !
When the last person on this forum has given up hope. THEN ......... the desired miracle will occur.
And mark my words, the next day they will be back to discussing the rising prices of vegetables as though nothing has happened.
When the forum members will sigh with sheer relief from being spared of further torture, debating discussing and celebrating .... the next bombshell will be dropped and a more digusting thread of events will start. We are all aware of this pattern.
Since jan this year, more or less all the serials currently running are showing separation tracks. Most of them have gone into the mending relations mode now. In one of them the divorce actually happened in about 15 episodes and the female lead has moved on. Except PR where this started much earlier (in Sept I think) and showing no signs of patch up. Rather, it is getting phonier and more disgusting. Even the Tamil version has gone into a patch up mode between Archana and Savita of all people (the story is very different and more believable only slightly boring at times)
I am seriously thinking of recommending this serial to the police and armed forces to be used as a torture weapon to extract confessions by compulsory and repeated viewing for even hardened terrorists. I'm sure its gonna work !!!!

@ Arien:
Thanks for your comments on my post. I'm not sure, however, whether you and I are of the same opinion on Archana. I agree that it's easier to break a relationship than to try and mend it, and that certain relationships and situations are worth that effort. But like the majority of people posting here, I don't believe one should try to mend anything at such a tremendous cost to one's self respect. Behaviour such as Archana's is not merely accomodating or considerate or empathetic; while it may be all these things in the context of the idealized Indian daughter-in-law, it's also horribly servile and an insult to all womanhood. To praise it merely because it "mends" something of doubtful value is to encourage other women to act along the same lines; a very unhealthy message.
