Gosh C what a correct way of putting it !

Speaking of myself I was honestly taken aback when 4 or 5 teenagers put their heads up from the family room and yelled brazenly Ah but we prefer the Shorty she is sexier ! Their Moms shushed them and they laughed , and I said You guys don't mean that and they said Trust Us we Do !

Teenagers today r different C than they used to be in our time . Of course times have changed but I find teenagers today very decisive , they know exactly what they r thinking and what they feel . Very Independent minded .

That set me thinking and I observed her and I found she is short but has a compact figure and wears those clingly short salwar khameezes and looks so short before Manav she sometimes has to stand on tip toes to talk .........may be all that is sexy to them then the sedate , virtous Archna going around dressed in bordered saris and no open hair , a confirmed virgin . As u say it all depends on the way one sees it........but one thing is sure , sometimes opinions r surprizing

Either of 2 things. Divorce and sv 7 months are completing near by at same time. So maybe she will give birth to pre nature baby and die and give that baby to arman OR she is getting jealous day by day and in her jealousy she might do something horrible with archu or something bad and then it wil be over for her. Just my predictions. Hey C jee, you won SMARTEST member award. Congrats.

I must say I'd never have got a chance to exhibit any smartness on IF if I hadn't had some able opposition from all the other nominees, so my thanks are due to them - in particular Kool, whose posts I've found so engaging, and which first tempted me to post myself - as well as to everyone who voted!

Nice commentary Kool !

Girls, we have to accept one fact.. Arch will never complain against savita or anybody else in that family at present (unless Sav goes against Manav..that's a whole new ballgame)... she does not think what Sav doing is torture and she thinks she deserves hardship because she made mistake by not trusting Manav. . period! and that's why she is Archana and not Varsha, Shravani or Sulochana.. I am not puting her on pedestal but she is a protagonist full of flaws and certainly does not represent todays woman.. she belongs to 60s or 70s.. but unfortunately girls like her exist today and she is portraying their pligt..

Unfortunately Arch's efforts are going down the tubes and this time Shravani will not waste a moment to tell Sav/Dam that it was Arch's idea to go to mahila samiti.. end result? all Deshmukh.. and I mean ALL are going to ask he to stay away from their business.. another setback for Archu and yet another feather in Savita's cap.. sigh....

Kool, I got annoyed with Savita insulting Archana even after Manav told her off but now after reading your post, I kind of understand her point now. Archana's intentions were good but how could she save Vandu when she can't swim? Both would've drowned had it not been for Manav and other people who passed by and witnessed what happened.

I liked Archana and Vandu's scene, both are victims of Ajit and her schemes and both tried to commit suicide. At least Vandu was able to talk to someone who knew very well what she was going through

Archana refusing to invite her mother and sister in, I understood and I'm glad she did it. Sulochana asked the wrong people to leave, she has given Ajit and his family a free pass despite everything they've done, I'm glad someone is standing up for her being wrong.

Shravani, the less said about her the better!

I loved the ending, ArMan together standing up for what is right. This is how it should be instead of this ridiculous triangle storyline!

But alas bollywoodcrazed , all their standing up is going down the drain coz Vandu stupidly spoilt it all by marrying Ajit secretly .

I think both Manav Archu shud focus on being happy and leave others and their fates to themselves .

Kool ,I know it seems stupid that she jumped in the water even though she could not swim but sometimes it happens in life that there is a moment when someone you love is in grave danger and ....I swear Kool , I don't know how to explain it but the mind someimes just does not work , you just want to jump in to do whatever you can .

This happened with me Kool, about 8 months ago , there was a fire in my kitchen and my youngest son was near ...my mind just turned off , I just picked up the flaming burning frying pan and threw it in the garden ....I litraly jumped in fire Kool. I know it is stupid but I don't know how to explain ....when a moment likethat comes , God forbid ....you just take an action and then think later ..

My right hand and arm got third degree burns and I have lost around say 25 % control of my right hand muscles .......

It was horrible. I was in bandages for a month .

Why I am telling yo uthis is to tell you that even though it looked really stupid that she jumped ..I kind of maybe think she just jumped without thinking . And she did direct Manav to Vandita . If yo usee the scene you will see that Manav could not find vandu and he saw Archana and it was Archu who directed him to Vandu ....
