this is the question kools...is it the norm for chicks in india to change from shalwars to sarees when they get hitched, as in the case of archana and radhika .

Absolutely NOT in the metro cities . In fact married ladies wear jeans etc while commuting to office daily .

In villages women wear saris yes . But even there , young women continue wearing salwar khameezes nowdays .

This BS is shown only in Zee serials .Like some ZEE NORM or something .And sum distorted version of Indian culture.like bearing unlimited abuse to show what a good bahu you are .

yes TB you said it right, Banff is very beautiful. and Fifi, it is about one hour drive from Calgary. Lots of mountains (huge ones...awesome)

Another place that I really like is Victoria in BC. It is so breathtaking part of Canada.
