gus feeling tired again , pushing off to bed

todays Pr saddened me , no girl shud face such abuse

I made soup and croutons for dinner today as Im tired

Reading Jhumpa Lahiri's Unaccustomed Earth [ the only book i hadnt read] and almost on verge of finishig ..........still of the opinion that she is a master at detailed description but conjures up DEAD characters

Girls r playing basketball all the time nowdays in the house and driving me crazy

Phoned my sis in India today and chatted for an hour and felt very very nice . Hahaha , in our conversations , I scold her , not the vice versa............she is 18 years elder to me still . I guess I AM an Adolf of sum sorts after all ..........she is neglecting her eyes and not going to doctor and doing rubbish jobs for her children who have moved out and r perfectly independent............she listened meekly to my scoldings and then i felt bad

I made haleem today .Tomorrow I will not cook , just have haleem for 2 days , my sister was after me to make it for her ....

It's chicken haleem .....I am having it right now . Nothing for me to do tonight , it's weekend . The boys are with their friends .....I am all alone sitting in front of this computer ....

Hi Tanya,

I made haleem one time from the haleem mix, it tasted like moongi masri daal...I did not know the difference as I have never tasted it before. Is it a soup? eating for 2 days must taste good unlike the haleem that I made. I have heard that haleem is very healthy and a full meal. Tanya if you can give me the home made recipe, I will try it again.

I went shopping again today and went to Bath & Body Shop. I purchased the White Citrus lotion and shower gel. I had purchased the Japanese Cherry Blossom during Christmas.....it is the best fragrance they carry. Currently, the price is $11.00 per item or buy 3 for the price of 2. Not bad.

I am going to be on the soup next week. I have been a bad girl eating out a lot. Today I went out for lunch with a collegue, ate vegetarian lasagna with ceasar salad...ooh was good. Made aloo gobi with green pepper for dinner, turned out really good. Since the chef has turned vegetarian, the other half pretends not to miss the non-veg.

Kool enjoy the ronik in the house with your little ones. I feel for your sister. She misses her children and by doing things for her kids make her feel good, she looks for attention from her children. Kids these days don't think about their aging parents, but your sis should still look after herself, I agree.

I think that Rasika and Ajit should be reported to the mehla society and Ekta Kapoor should be taken to court for showing such disgrace towards women.

Okay Kool, Tanya, Fifi and many of my other friends, a joke before I retire to bed:

An American lady is window-shopping in Delhi. Suddenly she realizes she is late for an appointment. She is not wearing a watch so she sees a small shop on the roadside goes to the shop and asks in very American accent to the shopkeeper... "what's the time??

The shopkeeper is a very patriotic man and hates foreigners and their English accent while speaking. So he replies back in the same accent - Bra-panties!!

Confused the lady asks again. No! No! What's the time??
The shopkeeper again answers back. Bra-panties!!
"Bra-panties!!" The lady retorted.

Seeing the confusion going between the two a passerby comes to the rescue of the lady and says.
"Arre bhai, aap samjh nahin rahe ho!! Woh aapko time puuch rahii hai!!"
The angry shopkeeper shots back at him...

"Toh main bhi to unko time hee bataa rahan hun barah panthis (12:35)!!"

One last joke:

A White American, a Desi American and a Canadian were in a terrible car accident. They were all brought to the same emergency room, but all three of them died before they arrived.
Just as they were about to put the toe tag on the American, he stirred and opened his eyes. Astonished, the doctors and nurses present asked him what happened.
"Well," said the American, "I remember the crash, and then there was a beautiful light. The next moment the Canadian, desi American and I were standing at the gates of heaven. St. Peter approached us and said that we were all so young to die, and that for a donation of $50 we could return to earth. So of course I pulled out my wallet and gave him the $50 and the next thing I knew I was back here."
"That's amazing!" said one of the doctors, "But what happened to the other two?"
"Last I saw them," replied the American, "the desi American was haggling over the price and the Canadian was waiting for the government to pay his."
