there was some post a few months bk about the tamil version of pr..ajit was supposed to get married to archana..something happened..maybe rape?..

check prev posts..also there was no sachin in tamil pr..so the story has been adapted..and there was no arman romantic moments..

hope this does not happen..still waiting for the BIG..reunion..

i hope they don't show rape or attempted rape bc this will land ajit directly in jail which would be great for the viewers but bad for the story. i mean they can't get rid of ajit so quickly until they introduce new bad guy. same goes for sharvani.

OK, all, reality check..... Even if Ajit can theoretically be "reformed" by a good woman's love, what about his syphilis? Or worse, his AIDS? It's not like he was going to high class whores, you know. These days merely reforming a rake is not enough. Ajit "fans".... cease and desist !

Yes, clearly Ajit has arrived as PR's deus ex machina. For me, though, while Manav's jealousy if and when we see it more substantially will be interesting and gratifying, I think it's seeing anger in him that will be more reassuring, a sign of humanness. Not necessarily only anger at Ajit, though Ajit presumably will be the immediate trigger, but anger per se, at Shravani for her unwise actions and her stubbornness, at his mother for her greed, at Girish for pushing them around, at himself for letting his life become so complicated and potentially unfulfilling. This half day spent at his inlaws' place, as someone pointed out, showed him what he's been missing, a normal home. But more importantly, this space of normalcy makes a) his own forced and unhealthy situation with Shravani and his mother's glee even more stark in contrast and b) the wrongness of what he's doing to Archana not just in an emotional sense, but in a social sense too, more evident. Rasika's taunt does not go unnoticed, signalling his new awareness that he's leaving Archana to face all the social difficulties and taboos that a divorced woman in middle-class India has to encounter, and that, given Ajit's behaviour, additionally she will now become sexually vulnerable on account of her perceived "availability"; men will feel easier about being lecherous, inappropriate and undeserving suitors may propose or proposition. So Rasika and Ajit together play a part not just in getting him angry, which is good, but by itself won't do, but also in making him conscious of some ground realities that he never seems to recognize in his messiah mode.

but half a day is not enough for him to make him take a stand. i guess the only way he will realize it is if archu is going to be harmed. its too early to say that he has realized this but u are right C that it will make him see things differently but will he do anything about it. he saw his mother abuse her left and right he didn't say anything

Very interesting angle indeed. Those pervert stare of Ajit definitely stirred some emotions other than 'Insaaniyat' in Manav . Manav was green with jealous even when he saw Satish with Archu when Archu signed divorce papers) , theres no way he is letting Ajit come anywhere near Archana.

I hope Creatives don't take this classic track from old Hindi movies-

Ajit traps Vandu in his love in order to get at Manav, Archu comes to know and is willing to sacrifice herself to save Vandu and Deshmukhs honor- that would be so stale.....

Commentator, you beat me to everything i wanted to say. I agree with you that this afternoon is the start to another side of Manav that all of us are waiting for and Shravani doesn't want 😉
I watched that scene where Ajit has a very creepy look while looking at Archana and then they focus on Manav's face, boy did that run chills down my spine. There was definitely a strong sense of 'Don't you dare look at MY wife"
I think Manav is going to get super possessive and it will be a thrill to watch. I hope the creatives plan this right, we've seen enough to Archana pining over Manav, now lets take a look at Manav being possessive and realizing what he's subjecting Archana too by marrying shravani.
