Arrey yaar , we watch this show for romance ...remember , we are all romantic fools , at least I am, most definitey .

But I agree with what you are saying about My Archu . She would like to have any part of manav if she can .. his baby will give her a reason to live , a reason to be happy forever becauseshe can always see him in the child ...

Gosh , that poor girl is sooooooooooooo in love ...😭

Maybe getting a little stronger , I hope . Where is that damn advocate Khana , I want that evil savita to be caught of the illegal crime she had commited ...

I hope Baba takes a danda out and beats the living day light out of her , when he finds out . And when sonny boy comes to protect mama then baba should give him one danda as well, straight on the head ...😡

Okay the optimist in me is trying to think of solutions... how about this... after Manav and Archu make love... Manav goes to Girishji and says that he hasn't been able to get Archu out of his system despite doing everything in his power. They have only come closer... nd strange is that he isn't even feeling guilty or feeling he did anything wrong... he is only sad that he could not live upto Girishji's and Shravani's expectations.

We can have this dialogue: I don't want that tomorrow when I and Shravani get married, I betray shravani for some reason. See what happened... despite all my iron control... I could not control my feelings for my wife today... I haven't been able to forget her period... and if a situation occurs in future wherein my wife needs me, I won't be able to desert her. So it is better that both of us admit that this marriage clearly keeps no one happy and secure. And BREAK THIS MARRIAGE.

It will be like- the consummation forces Manav to accept that despite all his iron-control, he can never forget or ignore Archana and this is what happens when he gets a little weak emotionally. Also to think if the future holds any sort of security for Shrvani since he is so hopelessly in love with Archana.

Does this theory make sense?

But can we make him realize his love for her before making love to her , I mean first he should just fall back in love and then would get into all this , or am I asking for too much here ???

IF wht Niki says comes true then everything will b solved at just one go...from whr the melodrama will set in...sounds so simple...so my doubts.

CRs hardly like to follow simple n sensible solutions...they love drama...their track history clearly tells us tht....how can u explain such a complicated mess of a love story as PR is now,had it not been for drama?Agar ek hi jhatke me solve ho jaaye to prob banaye hi kyun the...million dollar qs

Of course there's one perfectly practical and sensible way out (if the creatives ever got around to being practical and sensible on Manav and Archana's behalf, i.e.). So here's that

ALTERNATIVE SENSIBLE SCENARIO TO SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS (Read on.....)

(This one's for Tanya who may have a nervous breakdown otherwise 😊)

Manav and Archana get divorced, and Manav weds Shravani. As agreed between all parties, including a resigned Girish, it is a marriage of convenience, and Manav never touches her. (Which won't be hard, given how she absolutely doesn't match up to Archana, who is the ultimate and longlasting prize he has in mind.) The baby is born "prematurely" but respectably and gets the Deshmukh name. Six months later Manav and Shravani file for a mutual consent divorce and part amicably (though of course to Savita's intense chagrin). Shravani goes back to teaching and bringing up her child. The child is often brought to visit her grandparents in the chawl and is always made much of. One month after the divorce (you have to apply a month in advance) Manav and Archana have a quiet registered wedding attended only by some very relieved young 'uns: Tarun (again, but this time engaged to Vaishu), Varsha and Satish (now a well adjusted couple, and Varshu large with child) and Vandu (thanking her stars she doesn't have to eat Shravani's REALLY BAD cooking ever again.) The whole party goes out to dinner afterwards. The groom is dressed in a plain cream shirt and dark pants, and can't help reaching out and touching his new wife gently on the arm or shoulder once in a while, just to make sure she's real and that this isn't a dream. The bride is in a red sari with a thin gold border and some delicate jewellery. She turns around and looks at her husband when he touches her to be thus reassured and she smiles radiantly back.

How's that for an alternative?

He comes to know about Savita's crimes... savita is about to slap archana but he holds her hand and gives her a piece of his mind.. then holds Archu's hands and takes her to the bedroom and closes the door. Shouts at Archu- why didn't you tell me about Aai's crimes all this while.. all this injustice I did wid you, suffering for no fault of yours... I kept saying 'der ho gai, der ho gai' why didn't you say once 'meri wajah se nahi hui der... I didn't even sign divorce papers or sent them...' why you tolerated so much abuse... I'm the worst husband in the world that u had to suffer so much for me.. angry tears in eyes..

and then Archana holds his head and looks into his eyes and says she loved him and stuff and didn't want him to break his word or run from responsibility coz of me... you have loved me and suffered a lot coz of my family.. a disappointing marriage, lost your brother, loads of humiliation... you have saved my, my dad's and varshu's life... what wud I have given you in return... broken you apart from your family... and distanced you from them... i didn't want it that way... Earlier you stood by me and so today I decided to stand by what decision you had made.

This is the ultimate straw for Manav who cries like a baby on Archu's shoulder and archu trying to console him and finally both of them breaking down...

Then later that night, Manav thinks that he has two reasons to break this wedding..1.) Archana's future will get spoilt- coz savita had called her a whore + she had declared in front of everyone that she wudn't marry any one other than Manav 2.) Makes him realise that his love for Archu is much stronger than he had thought... one emotional moment and all his iron-control and false claims of 'Main shravani se shaadi karunga' collapsed... so how will he forget archana after marriage to shravani or ends up cheating shravani... so he decides he has to break his promise.

How else could you have written such a sweet and romantic conclusion ( and extremely sensible I must say ) to this whole mess, that too after the horror stories you were writing a few hours ago ....

C. I agree with you perfectly . Why are they not thinking about this . Even if manav has to marry Shravani to give baby a name , he never said he would stay married to her forever .

Now that his love is back in his life , and she would probably do anything he will tell her to do , he can easily give the child his name and then go back to Archana ....

Shravani can have respectibility , her baby and then do whatever she wants . he never promised her love in the first place . What he has done for her is so much , she should be just so thankful about this . And then Manav will also not be unfair to his own wife and of course not to his own feelings .

Love the way you ended the wrting , specially how he keeps touching her to make sure that she is real indeed .
