that was a very nice scene . I felt so bad for him . I can't believe this is the same guy . Why does he not get a simple fact that ' it is Archana who is his responsibility no.1 .

Even if he did not love her , even then she was his and now that he knows that they both love each other , she loves him even more than he does ....why does he not think about her . If he is bound by responsibility of sachin's baby ...well that baby has a rich grand father ,an educated working mother ....he is always there as an uncle....

But look at Archana , very low education, parents are retired and old , 2 sisters who care about her but she cannot depend on them . Brother has a wife like manju who is along with her brother , Archu's worst enemy ...

How can he not see that this poor woman has absolutely no one ...no one but me .

You know it is strange but satish thinks about archana's well being as a caring friend and also because he is marrying Varsha ...he cares far more about Archana then Manav does .

Even today I was so happy to see him care and say that him an varsha cannot possibly get married without Archu .

God bless him ...he is perhaps the only one who will help Archu after Manav dumps her .

I am seriously begining to observe two more things here .

1. I think Manav is actually scared of Girish Ji as he has power and money .

2. manav is taking full advantage of Archana's nature . he knows she is a lamb and will not do anything ...no matter how he treats her .

@koolsadhu: I don't deny Manav has made mistakes, sometimes in anger, sometimes in justifiable situations, some realistic mistakes and some were simply flaws by the creatives (like the girish one.. i guess even the creatives have not thought about this one) which I and you noticed but the creatives forgot.

Anyhow, the bottom line is, somewhere this character appeases me, cos he is very much normal, makes mistakes in realistic situations and going by his point of view, I understand him. As i said above, it is only the sindoor and engagement thing that has put me off against him.. even his decision to marry Shravani, even though wrong in my opinion, didn't put me off against him or make me angry with him cos I tried to see things from his point of view and the reaction of a normal person to a situation like this.

BTW thanks for the compliment. I have always been a Manav fan, as I said in an earlier post, I will defend him when need be, but will not forgive the sindoor and engagement mistake or defend him for it. Its just that I don't like being a hypocrite in these matters. And I appreciate that you always consider my opinion and don't get bugged by my posts on Manav.

you know this Girish , I hate this man . He is majorly responsible for the hot soup Manav is in today . I do blame Manav but Girish is a horrible person . he has a daughter still he does not think of another girl . Just because that poor girl does not have a rich dad , is it fair that her heart should mean nothing .

Why is he putting pressure on Manav when he knows that his divorce has not come through . he is exercising his rights because he helped manav with money ...What a horrible thing to do ..selfish human being he is .

I too am thinking this way and I was gonna post on it . Maybe i will one day . Hundred percent this guy is way taking advantage of Archna . If he had a teekhi Mirchi like Varsha for a wife he wud have thought twice before putting sindoor .

@Tanyaz: Initially I was angry on the same thing... very angry... but my Mom explained that what we are seeing right now is the expected reaction of a man when asked to choose btw wife of 6 months and family of 31 years. As he begins to ponder , he may change his decision, but the spontaneous decision will always be to go with his family.

I dont know how many people will agree with me but there is a big reason why I want Manav to refuse Shravani for marriage and go back to Archana... I personally feel that it is the biggest honour and victory as a wife when your husband goes against his blood relations, all those who brought him up lovingly all these years to be with his wife and do justice to her, when he leaves all that love and care for the seven rounds of the holy fire. Remember how proud Manju was when Vinod agreed to leave his parents on her insistence and live with her separately? She used this respect that Vinod gave to her in a negative way... as a prestige issue and to separate him from his loving family. But if tomorrow Manav does it, it will be to prevent injustice to his wife, give her a happy and secure future which she rightfully deserves... all at the risk of alienating himself from his family and breaking his promise to Girishji... prepared to face the consequences of his decision like a man... ready to hear words like selfish, irresponsible etc for Archana's sake.

Although with the way things are going, it is difficult to say if all this can really happen, but IF it happens then I will be proud of Manav and happy for Archana cos she really deserves this respect and happiness.

If he had a teekhi mirchi like Varsha then he would have gone ahead with the sindoor ceremony with even more gusto thinking that after this she will surely hate me, cos she is so hot headed that this is just going to blow her off!!! 😆

In fact if it had been someone like Varsha then this excuse would still have made a little more sense... but Archu??? no way!! He knows very well that she loves him too much and can never hate him. That is the reason I don't buy this stupid excuse.

we think alike Tanyaz... just now I posted this question in 'good post koolsadhu'

I think its a win -win situation both ways. If her doesn't put sindoor then Archana will not get false hopes and try to move on in life, if he puts sindoor it will be a good message showing that he respects Archana and thinks of her as his wife.. that only she has the right over the sindoor... etc.etc.

and here the reason is not bigamy, or pleasing savita, or doing it for shravani's sake, or wanting to do it so that Archu wud start hating him and move on in life without him. I am not concerned with the legal or romantic angle that much... ekta's serials make a mockery of it anyway.

The reason is insensitivity. He did it and almost died in his soul, but did he for one moment think how Archu wud have felt, specially when he knows that Archu loves him like mad. He did it coz he wanted Archana to hate him, okay, I try to digest it... but wasn't it too extreme a step? Who knows Archu in her depression would have tried to commit suicide? Would Manav have ever been able to forgive himself ifArchana had jumped from terrace instead of falling off accidently?NO!! NEVER!!!

And these are the only two things for which I will never ever forgive Manav. It was the biggest mistake of his life. Tomorrow if they show him becoming the old Manav, (like they showed in today's episode) then I will support him, no doubt, I will again write long posts defending him, but I will not forgive Manav for these 2 incidences cos he did not realise the enormity of his decision at that moment and what effect it could have had on Archu.

And nishr, it is too soon to say I'm in team Archu, as I said I'm still sympathetic towards Manav, but I hate it that the creatives are doing such damages to his character that I really cannot defend him... I mean I love him and feel sorry for him... but how can I defend him when I myself said that I cannot forgive him for putting sindoor or getting engaged to Shravani.... it would be a case of plain hypocrisy... and I hate hypocrites.

so you see... Manav ke sath sath meri bhi agnipariksha chal rahi hai yahaan par. Both of us are betraying the one whom we love for the our principles. Lets see hum dono paas ho pate hain ki nahin.

Niki I'm sorry for not adding ur name in Manav team i have edited it plzz check it.
i thought because of recent incident u will change ur mind but never mind u are in Manav which is plus point as u see in present team no one is speaking more in defense of Manav compare to Archu so u being in our team gives strength.

So , what do you guys have to say after watching SBS today , specially the well dressed dulha dulhan , Manav and Shravani .

Manav is actually dressed in a nice kurta as a dulha to be would . This is nothing spontaneous . It is a well planned event . All in front of his injured heart broken and still married and in love wife .

Is this man for real ....

I am disgusted with Manav , there are no words to describe how much I dislike him now ...

How dare this guy says that he still loves her .

How dare he .

I just want Archana out of this man's life for good . He will kill her like this .I want her back in her home ...
