Jan 18

- Manav and Archu go into their room and he asks her why she came back and tells her to leave

- Archu says no and that she loves him and knows he's innocent now

- Manav says it doesn't matter since he's marrying Shravni and tells her that she's pregnant

- Archu is devastated and crying

- Sulochana is worried about Archu and is sad that she's gone to Manav's house

- Varsha calls Archu to make sure she's ok

- Shravni starts packing, and Archu tells her to stay and she'll go and Manav hears it

Jan 19

- Archu leaves the house

- Varsha and Satish meet, and she tells him that she doesn't see him as a husband

- Manav is thinking about Archu

- Damodhar is drunk and says he won't go home till Archu comes home

- Varsha calls, and Manav says she left the house forever

- Sulochana is freaking out

- Manav and Vinod go to find Archu

- Manav searches for Archu the whole night and finds her at the train station

- Manav brings her home

Jan 20

- Everyone is questioning Archu on why she's back, and she tells them that Manav is marrying Shravni since she's pregnant with Sachin's baby

- Sulochana says she'll never let her go back in that house ever again

- At Manav's house everyone is worried where Archu is besides Savita

- Manav comes home and tells everyone that she's at home and that their relationship is over

- Archu's lawyer said that they'll have to wait for 3 months for a divorce

- Manju says she can't live here with Archu, and starts bath mouthing Manav and Damodhar

- Archu defends them and Manju says she doesn't want to deal with Archu anymore

Jan 21

- Girish brings jewelry for Shravni, and Manav accepts after a lot of persuasion

- Savita is very happy inside

- Varsha is not happy with Archu's decision, and Satish is trying to make Varsha understand

- Varsha tells him not to interfere in her personal matters, and Satish isn't happy

- He tells her she's selfish and not to come to him for help and leaves

- Manju gives everyone an ultimatum to chose her or Archu

- Manju says she swears by her unborn child that she won't step into the house until Archu leaves

Jan 22

- Shravni catches Savita wearing he jewelry, but she saves herself by talking about Sachin

- Archu is upset that Manju left the house the way she did, and Sulochana consoles her

- Varsha goes to meet Satish and apologies to him

- Archu asks Vinod to bring Manju back, and he refuses

- While Manav is buying medicine, Shravni gets hit by a car and Archu sees it

- Manav and Archu take her to the hospital

- Both Shravni and the child are fine, and the doctor thinks that Manav is Shravni's husband

- Archu goes to get Manju, but she refuses to go and Archu leaves

- Manju's mom says that she can complain that Archu isn't obeying the court's order so they'll forget about Ajit

- Manju and her mom see Archu standing at the door

Jan 25

- Manju is scared that Archu heard their conversation

- Her mom says they'll complain against Manav before Archu does anything

- Vandu is studying and remembers a moment with Archu

- Satish's mom goes and asks Sulochana if they can look for another girl for Satish

- Archu thinks that everything is happening because of her

- Archu faints in the middle of road, and someone brings her to Manav's house

- Savita isn't happy, while everyone is worried

Jan 26

- Archu gains consciousness and Savita tries to kick her out

- Archu says she won't leave because she remembers Manju's plan against Manav

- Archu tries to convince Savita and Manav to let her stay

- Manav agrees to let Archu stay

- Savita says only if she writes a complaint against Manju, and gives her 3 hours to decide

- Sulochana and Manohar go to bring Archu home, but Archu said she won't go

- Archi agrees to write a complaint against Manju

Jan 27

- Vinod is upset that Archu is going to write a complaint against Manju

- He decides to support Manju, and goes to bring her back

- The police is at Manju's, house, but don't arrest her because she has bail papers

- Manju's mom starts bad mouthing Archu and him

- Vinod goes to Manav's house and starts saying that she's a bad sister, and he's not her brother anymore

- Damodhar goes to Archu's house and tells Vinod that his decision was wrong

- Damodhar tells Vinod that Archu and him got the bail for Manju

Jan 28

- Vinod realizes that he was wrong , and apologizes to Damodhar

- Manohar brings Archu's belongings to Manav's house

- Vinod wants to apologize to Archu, but Manohar stops him

- Savita calls Archu a begger, and Manav tells her to stop

- Savita wants to make Archu's life miserable

- Savita says Archu isn't his wife anymore since he's getting married to Shravni

- At night, Manav, Archu and Shravni remember Savita's words

Jan 29

- Manav sees Archu sleeping in the kitchen, and puts a blanket on her and Shravni sees

- Manav brings water in the kitchen, and Archu made tea for them

- Manju tells Vinod to meet her at school for Punni

- Maanv turns the radio on and it says that tomorrow is Jan 30^th

- Savita and Archu remembers it's Sachin's birthday, and everyone is sad

- Savita remembers memories of Sachin with Manav

- Tarun talks to Manav about him and Archu, and he says he still loves Archu

- He says that he has to break his relationship with Archu for Shravni and the child

- Shravni hears what Manav says

Jan 30 (Maha Episode)

- Manav says he has to hate Archu

- Vinod goes to meet Punni, and tries to get Manju to go home with him

- Shravni remembers what Manav says about his behavior towards Archu

- Varsha goes to visit Archu at work, but Satish says she probably won't be coming for 3 months

- Satish tells Varsha he got rejected, and she tells him to do what his heart says

- Shravni calls the clinic to get an abortion done

- Archu finds out, and goes to tell Manav that Shravni is getting an abortion

- Manav and Archu stop Shravni from getting the abortion done

- Manav demands an explanation, and she says she doesn't want to come between him and Archu

- Vaishu reminds Sulochana about Varsha and Satish's marriage

- Sulochana and Manohar go to Bhavana to talk about Satish and Varsha

- The doctor tells Girish that Shravni came to her office for an abortion

- Varsha is trying to object to marrying Satsih, and Vaishu tells her that marry someone that loves you

- Girish comes to Manav's house and demands an explanation for Shravni's decision

- Shravni says she's did because she feels she's coming in the middle of Manav and Archu

- Savita says Archu is only here for 3 months, and there is nothing more

- Savita brings sindoor, and tells Manav to put it on Shravni

Dialogue Male and Female of the Fortnight

Manohar pan, sulochana tai, rishto ke maamle mein aap bohut ameer ho, aapke ghar mein aandhiya aati hain, rishte bikharthe hain lekin toothathe nahi, yaha log galtiya karte hain lekin usse sudhaarne ki chahat bhi rakthe hain... aapke ghar mein jagde hote hain, manmutaav bhi hote hain, lekin aapsi pyaar nahi tootha... issi ameeri ko is tarah banaye rakhiye - Damodar

I couldn't have thought of a better fitting dialogue to be on this edition, this dialogue is just so perfect. Damodar steals our heart yet once again.. He is the most honest, sincere character I know on this show!! Family life is full of crises, big and small... the ups and downs of health, success and failures ( in so many matters), and yet, it is the most nourishing of relationships we have! With family, the little things are the big things..the bond that links you as a family is respect and joy, and the Karanjikar family has enough a quota of that. They are willing to correct their mistakes (ahem, excluding Manjusha that is) and forgive others of theirs, and that keeps them together. Damodar's dialogue timing was perfect in this scene!

HAILAAAA!!!!! You guys KNOW this dialogue had to be on here! TAUBA!!! Damodar ji, SAU ANE SACH!!! I cannot believe Savita! I mean, on one hand, she leaves no stone unturned in "bezaty-ing" Archana, and one moment later she wants to listen to bhakti songs?!?!!? HAIN?! What is wrong with this woman? She needs to be checked for a personality disorder! UFF!! I hope that someday, she'll be consistent with her mood! Uf!

Hain voh meri zindagi! Aur main aaj bhi usse utna hi pyaar karta hoon jitna pehle karta tha... main yeh bhi jaantha hoon ki main laakh koshish karlooo usse meri zindagi se nikaalne ki lekin woh mere dil me, meri dimaag mein hamesha rahegi, main jaantha hoon tarun, main archana se jitna pyaar karta hoon, usse kahi zyaada pyaar woh mujse karti hain - Manav

HAYE MAIN MAR JAWAANN!!!! Manav, aapke muh mein ghee, shakkar!!! Gosh guys, even though we knew all along that Manav loves Archana, it was just fantastic to finally hear it from the man himself! Three cheers for the guy please! HIP HIP, HURRAY (ahem, feel free to repeat with me :D) What I love about this dialogue is that Manav not only knows his own love for Archana, but he also understands the kind of "beintiha" love she has for him. The only place Manav falters is that he doesn't know the limit of his own love, so he doesn't realize yet how far he'd go for Archana...ooii, there is so much left to be seen :D

Tum wahi karo, jo thumhe apne liye sahi lagta ho -Varsha

Aw Varsha, if only you knew what Satish really thinks is right for him, you wouldn't have said that :D Guys, I honestly had such a broad, wide smile on my face when I heard Varsha's advice to Satish! These two are really getting somewhere, and it is such a delight to watch these two on screen. I know I know, this dialogue is nothing over the top, and is usually something you could miss out quite easily, but I thought it was such a gentle, charming scene, so.. welp, I thought, why not ? (blush)

Star Male and Female of the Fortnight

Star Male - Well, there was no contenders in the first week of the fortnight but that quickly changed in the second week ... yes .. you guys guessed it right, the Star Male of the Fortnight is Dam BABA !!! ...I love how he would never doubt Archu even when her own maternal family doubts her actions, and I love how he showed the Karanjkars who Archu really is and how ashamed Vinod felt ... and the best bit was when he helped Archu in her problem by giving RA an anticipatory bail for Manju ... there are no words for Baba... and once again GAPATI BAPPA ... MOHRIYA !!!

Star Female - Ok, there is no doubt about it that Archu is the Star Female of the fortnight, and for many reasons. First for having the courage to leave her maternal home and go against her aai's wishes ... then she stood upto Manju again !! ... there is no stopping this girl ... she is on fire... she showed she can do anything for her love, even if it means divorcing Manav, i just hope Shravni brings Arman back together ...

Star Actor and Actress of the Fortnight

Star Actor : Performances by the males this fortnight were generally good. Raj Singh's (Sachin) presence on-screen is missed dearly, but Sushant Rajput (Manav) and Ajay Wadhavkar (Damodar) carry on well as the remaining Deshmukh men. Yet, this week is Parag Tyagi's turn to be in the limelight as Vinod Karanjkar. He doesn't have very long scenes, but he portrays his part well. He gets the whole confusion of choosing between his sister and his wife well. Although sometimes bland or on the other extreme a bit too passionate, generally Parag does his part well. In the past fortnight, his sequence with Ankita (Archana) and then Ajay on the 27^th were done just right, his frustration and later guilt were well portrayed.

Star Actress : Once again this fortnight Ankita Lokhande (Archana) pulled off a stellar performance, but this time the spot of Star Actress is taken by Usha Nadkarni as Savita Deshmukh. Although she does go over the top at times, she portrays the mordant Savita very well. Everything from the fighting to the yelling to the "I need Manav or Shravani to sympathize with me" crying in Sachin's name is done perfectly. Her specialty though is the cold but caustic sarcasm, which stood out when Savita was asking Archana to file the complaint against Manjusha in front of Manohar and Sulochana. Her performances are quite realistic and even resulted in an injury for Ankita, whom Usha had to push in a scene. Overall, Usha does a swell job each fortnight and succeeds portraying her character of Savita.

ArMan Sequence of the Fortnight

Another disappointing fortnight for ArMan lovers... cos almost all the ArMan scenes had Archana begging and crying for her love and Manav Mithu trying his best to put her off with his favourite dialogue, "Tumne bahut der kar di.." or Archana and Manav giving embarrased, guilty looks to each other. Come on, creatives, ab aur mat tadpao!!!

However there was one particular sequence which made us drift back to those good old 'Pavitra Rishta' days- The early morning sequence when Archana returns back to the Deshmukh household. After weeks of cold-shoulder treatment by Manav, it was heartening to see our hero getting back to what he does the best -caring for his Archu- by putting off the lights in the kitchen, draping a blanket around her lovingly, remembering old times, and even accepting the tea that she makes for him. As for Archu, her silent tears when she realises Manav put the blanket made us go absolutely 'Aawwww...' for her... and it was endearing to see her getting worried when Manav burns his mouth trying to gulp the tea fast. Finally, a scene highlighting their nostalgia, their sense of being incomplete without each other and their mutual love and concern for each other! A must watch ArMan sequence for sure.. and the cherry on the icing was that the 'kabab mein haddi' Shravani witnessed this whole scenario herself.. hows that!!

Sigh! Now if we could only see more of such scenes in the future... a little birdy chirped that love is in the air.. hopefully the next ArMan scene of the fortnight will see more competition.

Best Family Scene of the Fortnight

To be honest there werent many happy family scenes, they were all mostly shouting but one scene stood out for me and it came in the second week of the fortnight. It's the scene where Vinod realises his mistake of doubting Archu and how aai/baba tell Vinod that whatever happens, we should always trust our family, even if their actions seem obscure ...

Mr. and Ms. Head Turner [Style Icon] of the Fortnight

Again I really don't know who to pick as Mr and Mrs. Head Turner because almost for two week we saw entire cast wearing same dress. But I think I have to choose this because we PRians make it and love this show.

Mr. Head Turner: Manav wore purple color shirt in which he looked cute as always and another one was maroon color check shirt in which he looked good.
We hardly saw Satish this week but he made his presence felt on the Maha Episode in which he wore blue color and was looking really fresh and good.

Ms. Head Turner: Archana wore Blue color saree in which she looked pretty and I liked her hair style, it suits her very much and this week we saw Archu wearing new saree of purple color and looked pretty and in Maha Episode. She was looking good in spite we had seen her in same saree. Even Vaishali looked good in orange color kurta and in Maha Episode she was looking nice in blue color dress. I know we hate Manjusha very much but her saree selection suits her with her makeup and eye liner looks nice on her.

Review for Fortnight

Hmmmm what to say ..the show is really moving ahead at snails pace ...and every time i see hope of Arman being together something happens and my hopes are dashed ..this fortnite wasnt different either .The good thing was that some sense was knocked into Vinod by Damodar ..he truly rocked. But again what kind of PR is this where others are striving for their perfect relationship and they themselves are leaving no stone unturned to ruin it .I have actually lost interest as the developments are pretty slow and so predictable ...with no Arman happening in the near future ...the only bright spots here and there are Sasha ....wish they'd leave Arman and focus on them as they r more vibrant ,independent and smart.

PR to me looks a potential blockbuster gone horribly wrong ...i had better expectations ...but isnt that my signature line !!!!

Expectations for next Fortnight

Well, seeing as to how the last fortnight was technically the "boring" one if we continue with the pattern, then this next fortnight should be dhamkedaar. From a gathering of articles and our forum's khabroo, we should expect the fortnight to begin with Manav putting the sindoor on Shravani, or atleast contemplating whether or not he should. It will continue with a "party" for Sachin's birthday in which the Deshmukh household will serve the chawl's children food in memory of the birthday boy. As SBS and SBB tell us, Archana will fall off of the terrace whilst hanging some clothes to dry. Hero Manav will scoop her up in his arms and will supposedly become quite loving again towards Archana. After this none (except the Pavitra Rishta team) are aware of what will happen.

The story should be Deshmukh-house centric as noted above, and we can hope to see something good happen between Archana and Manav. Will Manav actually try to be mean to Archana to make her forget him, or will he turn around and be loving again? How will Manav get himself out of this mess he's ended up creating? Will something dramatic happen to Archana after her fall? What will Savita and Damodar's reactions be amongst this drama? Will Kaka and Vandita get any dialogues? Will Shravani finally change her stone-faced expression?

As for the Karanjkars, Lokhandes, and Satish's family (do they even have a last name?), expect some more drama involving Manjusha and Vinod. Perhaps Bhavna and Rasika will continue their evil plotting as Varsha begins to reciprocate Satish's feelings. Will Manjusha come back to the Karanjkar house? Will Satish and Varsha's wedding finally be fixed? Will Sulochana have an asthma attack at some point? Will Manohar stop adjusting his glasses? Will Rasika just die already?

This fortnight seems like it will bring many twists and turns, so I will leave you with this, expect the unexpected.

Q #1 - What makes you watch and discuss PR?

Wht makes me watch PR : mainly bcoz of the story, concept and background of the show .. this is not an usual EktaJi's soap where the male lead is rich, a high reputation, handsome, well lets say "any girl's dream man" lollz nd a girl from a lower class .. the storyline is about the love of a simple mechanic from a very low class, yet caring, loving, sweet who falls in love with a typical middle class girl, who's also beautiful, simple and caring. both care a lot about their families, and are even willing to sacrifice their love for their love and for their family. the main concept is that this unusual Ekta hero falls in love with that usual Ekta heroine ( wht a combination ! )

Wht makes me discuss PR : well the story itself .. this is a very realistic story without exaggeration ( well most of the time ) .. so I think everyone can relate in atleast one of the characters of PR as everyone is different. We have a middle class family "rebel and modern" Varsha, the quite Vaishali, the sacrificing and responsible girl Archu ......

Q #2 - Who is your favorite character?

I don't have any favorite character as such. I think each and every character is unique in their own way. Sometimes they can be right, sometimes they can be wrong.
But if asked to choose one, I'd go with Manav. I love the sweet and caring Manav we had in the beginning. And even now, I think his anger is justified enough, even though I didn't like it when he agreed to marry Shravni. Even after agreeing to marry Shravni, he still loves his wife Archana, and still cares of her. As much as he loves his Aai and his family, he won't hesitate a bit to go against his mother for his wife if necessary. And mostly, he's selfless.

Q #3 - Rate the PR section from 1-10 keeping in mind the members...
Keeping in mind the members, I'd surely rate this forum 10/10 ! I think the members here are VERY sweet, caring, loveable, active, talented, friendly and what not loll .. This is a forum that everyone would dream of

Q #4 - Where do you wish the show is headed?

Of course, like everyone, I wish the show is headed towards ArMan reunion
But I don't want it to happen that easily, I want it to happen after both feels the love once again, more trust in each other, get to know about each other and all .. I think the current track which is headed towards their reunion is good.

Q #5 - What other shows do you watch and/or discuss?

I think everyone knows about it .. of course it has to be Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil .. I think I promoted that show more than enough here .
