HS would have a kid of his own and while Minnie is there of course, he didn't get to raise her from birth. That experience alone would have changed him as a person. And the healing that he so desperately needed and couldn't have gotten from Babita, he would have gotten it from his daughters.

It would have been a really beautiful track to explore because we know so much of his trauma is linked to his parents. It would have been so wonderful to see his own children heal him from the scars that his parents had laid on him as a child.

It would have indeed been beautiful but for some reason KK didn't want to explore that.

The fact that they left so many of his emotions and baggage unresolved and unexplored is what's hurting me. The final door is going to be shut with Minnie leaving. I don't see HS healing at all - he has finally articulated what we've been saying about Babita and his relationship and its lack of depth. I am glad he said it to someone out loud, and Minnie understood.

I just wish his thoughts on the CD issue had been expressed but I take today's scene as encompassing all that and more.

One thing though, even if Minnie leaves in anger, I don't think she can hate him or forget him. The distance and growing a bit older will help her see him in a new light and understand things which she can't today. It will have a major impact in her dealings with Arya, for sure.

But if they had retained HS, then he would have been a wonderful father to both the girls. I don't want to diminish the mother's role in a child's life, but HS has been more of a parent to Minnie than Babita has. HS would have healed and grown and so would've his two girls.

Again, Idek what to say. It's just so effed up.

I don't think it's because Aniruddh doesn't want to play a father's role. If that were true, then Arya didn't need to come into the picture. I don't claim to know him but from what he has been saying, his craft is of utmost importance so if he gets a meaty role he'll do it. That's why he took up HS in the first place but the writing didn't do HS much justice towards the end.

They didn't know which way to go with Babita and they wanted to kill her character off. They couldn't have HS widowed again so they killed him off too.

Somehow, I'm done with these characters. Don't have that energy to watch them more in light of expectations and more expectations. I feel CVs didn't want to show the HS Mini thing positively, ever. There was no one to stop them from doing that this season and I see no reason why they would've done that in the next cause it's about sister sister this time.

With Babita dead, I surely would've thought that they would've come closer but then I'm not sure.

I'm DONE for once and for all.

I wonder if HS will resent Babita for Minnie leaving with bitterness, or if he will actually for once make things right before she goes?

There's so much to explore still, and based on his conversation with Minnie today, it's clear that he feels a double loss this time: his daughter and also his confidante. Minnie leaving at this crucial juncture means they will have missed this chance to rectify things, because when she comes back she will have changed and grown a lot. I don't know if they will have a major fallout/final showdown but the physical distance in their case has come at the wrong time. Do you know what I mean?

We know the season is ending, but the characters don't. Why is HS behaving as if this is goodbye forever, though? Is it a gut feeling?

I love the way he said 'jaana zaroori hai'? That one question summed up all his yearning, his pain, his inability to tell her what he feels for her.

By the way, has HS ever told Minnie he loves her? I don't think so. She has but I don't remember hearing him say it.

HS is the most broken about this. Despite all the hurt he was feeling, he was still a parent. He didn't once try to stop her, just wanted to make sure that she was leaving without any ill feelings towards them.

Babita on the other hand, we know will try to do everything in her power to make Minnie stay behind and twist everything into how Minnie doesn't care for her etc. She'll essentially make it all about her rather than Minnie and what's best for her. Yes, HS laid out his heart today but while talking about himself he was making sure to put forth the importance Minnie has in his life.

I do! A lot has happened in the past few days and while HS has been saying that he supports her, everything has fallen to pieces around them. The shop, the symbol of their perseverance and identity has now been sold off to Khatri of all people, Babita wants to shift to a new place without even considering Minnie's education or future, and then the whole surname fiasco - everything has just been too much.

I think it is a gut feeling. He had even mentioned that no matter what happens, you always were and always will be my Veer Balika. This was like his way of saying goodbye to the Queen Victoria that he knew because when Minnie comes back, she won't be the same. She would be much older, wiser and a lot more experienced and steadfast in her stances.

In every line of his, he was stuttering and the words trembled out of his mouth. It was simply so heartbreaking because this was their goodbye as Hanuman Uncle and Veer Balika. Idk if we'll get another one after this.

yes right. The trauma you get through your parents erases a lot while bringing up your own children the right way. just being able to give them what they need and love and security heals you. If only HS would have got this. It would have been wonderful

@bold what makes you feel that? You mean, they didn't want this from day one of the show or just recently?

His back story alone had SO much potential and could have easily made up a hundred episodes on their own and yet we got nothing. This hurts me the most because they all could have easily been roped into this.

Again, I really don't know what HS saw in Babita right now. The way she is currently... how can anyone love her? And it surely can't be just the companionship because what kind of company is she giving to him?

Minnie can never hate her Hanuman Uncle. Yes, she was angry at him for not giving the letter but it wouldn't spark hatred in her. Even with Babita's harsh words, Minnie will be more upset and hurt than hateful. She'll be leaving with an extremely broken heart.

It's just not fair how Minnie's the one who's being made to leave her home at the end. Especially how it was her who had insisted Babes to move into the Haveli in the first place. It was she who stepped there first and started to consider the place her home.

Babita ko toh ghar aur pati mil gaya. But Minnie ka kya??
