This is maybe the one point where they are right. Like this is really not that Babita whom HS fell in love with, but the first version of her, whom he mocked as the standard backward fearful lady quite a few times

Even as a husband he doesn't like her being this obsessed with him/living with him at the expense of losing her identity.

Only Babita is shown as this clingy, insecure, tantrum throwing character who doesn't care anything about money.

I bet all of them were cringing when performing this scene. Why do I get the feeling that Ashok's letter is the final nail in the coffin as it will reveal something about Babita that shows her in a completely new light from what we initially saw her, and HS will be like, yeh maine kya kar diya.
