YUP. Its confirmed. Paridhi and Anirudh have quit the show.

Just that the writers executed it way better in the early half of the show.....these were all very imperfect people to begin with.....that is what fascinated me....that they were such compelling characters in their imperfections only.....it's very rare on TV.

They just lost their grip on how to showcase the executions with the wedding.....they took a lot of things to the extreme for melodrama rather than highlighting the flaws in a balanced manner to make a point rather than a display out of it.

I wish I could say they are the first set of writers on TV to fall from grace.....lol but there's PLENTY....WAY too many. They all fall from grace sooner or later......for a variety of reasons.

Sure others do fall from grace, but their standard was so high that this fall just seems greater.

I have learned my lesson with ITV now.

Not extreme posts my dear but have seen life and yes have been to hell and back and can tell you when a tale is being sprung and that life is not black and white only but full of life and colours but if not careful will fool you all. With age comes wisdom and respect if our traditions and culture and should not be laughed upon by the younger generation as there is a saying in the wise old buddha who gave advice but was laughed at. Is so true of the younger ones nowadays.

In the same way Katha Kottage in her sheer arrogance and total disrespect for the main leads here, Babita who has been so badly butchered as mother and HS has a honest Policemen has been portrayed as a con and a cheat is not good, especially as the last 200 eposides tell a different story.

The saying thay you cannot grow flowers on the grave of those who toiled the soil together is so true.

In her fascination with Bacheri Mini the great that she has decided to get rid of Babita and HS is not a good move and will return to haunt her but Bacheri Mini will land back in Patiala with Ashok and Mita with Khuranas and stay in HS hawali and the shop will be run by NB and Khamno.

Mini and Mickey will be in love after dumping Preeti and Ashok will approve after all cheating runs in the family. The Khuranas together living happily ever after.

Man, I was in the middle of my rewatch and was looking forward to revisiting the best phase of the show post epi 100....aur ab

All said and done, this show still has some of the most epic scenes I have ever watched. Period.

Main bhi jhaanse mein aa gayi seeing the high standard they set....lol otherwise I'm usually more skeptical of the writing on ITV....it usually fails much faster....these guys still maintained it for quite a bit.

Yupp. Those 200 episodes were the best.

No, Ashnoor won't quit. The show will continue with Mini post leap.

I know it's hard, but we should all try to savor the good we got, for however long.

This show is a cult hit and it will live on in the memories of the audience for showcasing such well rounded characters👏

Having said that, they have maintained the track record for ITV. Most shows lose steam after 150-200 episodes. This one hit the mark there too!

I think because the initial standard was so high it took us time to see the fall. If the standard of writing had been poorer to start with we would not have been able to make head or tail of this ages ago.

Anyway... It's better to end it hear than drag it and ruin the memories of our show. Amputation, you see.
