I guess they still have to get used to being one household in that sense. Up to a few weeks ago they had separate accounts. Still I would like to have some discussion abt finances since it is a major point of agreement or disagreement in real life marriages. Anyway one has to balance individual and family expenses and this comes down to knowing one's priorities as well.

Now, I'm more or less Babita’s age and have heard this phrase or sthg very similar a few times in my life. To tell the truth, everytime it happened I felt like "well, I won't hinder you but also won't actually support you, just do whatever." so if a guy would tell me this on a daily basis, I would be rather worried that he just doesn't care. I wonder how come babita doesn't want his honest opinion on stuff... Like she did before, see those night conversations in their previous aka pre shaadi life...

They used to talk about money a lot pre marriage. In fact, it used to be the source of quite a lot of arguments between HS & Babita.

As for financial priorities, Babita put all the responsibility of bringing in an income onto HS. Dunno what his stance is on the matter.
