Yup!
They mentioned everything that we've been discussing at length today. It's good that these issues are addressed and that they know where each other are in terms of their relationship. HS may still wish to be her father but at least he knows that there isn't a time limit for it. And even if that relationship never comes to fruition, at least he can be her guide and friend. That relationship on its own is very special to them both as well.
I think she in some parts said that she doesn't need a father so that HS stops freaking out so much. He's in SO much stress from Babes and everyone else, she doesn't want to be the reason to add some more.
Yes, I also think Minnie wanted to reassure him because let's face it, even if she hesitates on the word hero, he is still her hero and she can't stand seeing him break down and feel like a failure, and keep calling himself one.
One more thing: she said she doesn't need a father and nonchalantly talked about lots of kids like her who had fathers like Ashok, but she didn't say she didn't want one. Which gave me heart... At least we know that she is aware of the distinction and that she still wants him to get there but only if things happen organically. There might be a day when she might voice that want... I would love to see it.
I also think HS wants to be her father more than ever but in the right way, and it made him relieved to know that she didn't have high-sky expectations of him to conform to a certain image. (Although subconsciously I think she does.) He also knows that the hero status is shaky.
