I am sure that after a point what she said about not really needing a father out of this marriage will bother her a lot. We already know it upsets her but she's on the "I will survive" mode. At one point, perhaps because of the pregnancy news she will be affected by it. Perhaps seeing HS with a newborn or preparing for the unborn baby will give her a glimpse of his fatherhood status and then she would want that for herself too. Right now she has no point of reference as to what father, or her father should be like.

They mentioned everything that we've been discussing at length today. It's good that these issues are addressed and that they know where each other are in terms of their relationship. HS may still wish to be her father but at least he knows that there isn't a time limit for it. And even if that relationship never comes to fruition, at least he can be her guide and friend. That relationship on its own is very special to them both as well.

I think she in some parts said that she doesn't need a father so that HS stops freaking out so much. He's in SO much stress from Babes and everyone else, she doesn't want to be the reason to add some more.

What I found was that he even though he was hurt by not getting to do something the day of, he can make it up to her the next day. The day itself shouldn't matter as much as the intent behind the actions. But the way Babita was behaving was pissing him off again by questioning his love for Minnie. I am really not happy with the way she lashed out at him. If she as Minnie's mother for EIGHTEEN YEARS can forget, then why is he being put under the noose for something that he didn't even know about? Okay, he found out the morning of so what do you expect him to do? Leave his duties at the station once again and plan a surprise party for her? That's not how things are done.

And she keeps saying how I'm trying to create a father-daughter relationship between you two, but she hasn't. Just what exactly has she even done except question him and his love for Minnie and ask him to scold her?

I'm just really pissed at Babita today and this fcking bubble that she's going to be living in for the next few days is going to piss me off even more.

why hasnt she tried to talk to mini even once about hers and HS relation. i dont see her doing that. not even after the cd fiasco when she knew mini was hurt. she was fighting with HS but never tried to speak to mini

The handshake was a fresh start and it was ok but I missed a hug between them. Their hugs are just the best, starting from the Lohri one to the CD apology/GP one.

There is another thing that was brought up today. HS and Babita are under tremendous pressure to prove to everyone that they can make this second marriage worse. In Babita's case, to somehow show that the failure in her first marriage was not her fault, and in HS' case to show that he is capable of being a husband and father this time round, especially to a non-biological child.

It wasn't about gifts or wishing. To me, it was about him being so casual and indifferent about her birthday that was irking Babita. The day was special and HS had that I don't care attitude. Okay, he might be irritated bit I guess she might've asked him about his plans for her birthday and then he came up with things like he forgot or what's the need and stuff.

I also think he just doesn't get this parenting stuff, or what kids expect from their parents. LOL!

He has a lot to learn.
