At the same time, Mini’s outburst was wrong too.

The thing is — all Mini needed to say that Babes you don’t want to keep relations with Dadu - Biji, then don’t. But you can’t stop me. They are my grandparents and They will be part of my life. I will manage them separately!

Instead she ended up guilt tripping Babita. That it was your fault too and that Lovely Bua says stuff but isn’t dil ki buri and that in-laws to aise hi hote hai n all that jazz. That whitewashing was totally wrong on her part. (On writer’s part)

As can be seen that Biji still doubts Babita whereas she has exempted her Son Ashok of any duty towards Mini. And yet she feels sad that if Ashok comes to India, he doesn’t have a home to stay in. I mean the level of hypocrisy is astounding.

So yeah Mini blaming Babita for those 17 years was not right at all. On one side Mini says she learned to speak up at the tender age to wipe her mother’s tears. Imagine the taunts and torture Babita had to go thru that her 4-5 years old child has to step up. And yet you go ahead and blame your Mom for the torture she endured. I mean how?

Parents are always going to be more understanding to their own child than the one who’s not their child, even in their wrong doing. The grandparents are no different. Regardless of them saying babita is their daughter, it was only words and it shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out. They’ve never treated her as anything more than daughter in law. Anyone to think otherwise is a fool. The saying doesn’t go “blood is thicker than water” for nothing.

What I was trying to say is that in this instance they’re kind of portraying real life. When ppl divorce, the mother does sometimes stop the kid from being involved with the fathers family. In fact there are many fathers around the world fighting for the laws to change cos in the event of separation, they’ve got very little rights. Babitas reason for doing it is wrong tho cos she’s stopping mini from seeing them cos SHE WILL LOOK LIKE A BAD MOTHER.

I agree mini was brash in how she said it (but this has been her character from the start) but I don’t think everything she said was false. All the while babita is blaming, ashok, the in laws, she even blamed mini at one stage (🤯) yet never once blamed herself for not taking control of her own life. The fact remains is that she could of demanded to leave with her husband. I don’t think it’s wrong to point this out, seeing as tho she kept blaming everyone but absolving herself from any blame whatsoever. Btw I’m not saying it’s her fault that ashok cheated but if it’s mini’s fault she stayed for 17 years and khuranas fault that they never send her London then why’s it not her fault for demanding her husband take her along? She certainly gets very demanding with hs.

There’s just a whole lot of blaming going around but it’s not anyone’s fault entirely. It’s just a series of events that happened which everyone contributed to in their own way, but at the end of the day it’s mainly ashok. He was the married one who took vows so it was his duty to keep them, but we’ve seen he’s not a honourable man.

I guess beeji is a typical example of society and how a man can do such injustices, but somehow It always comes down to the finger being pointed at the women, especially if that woman is an outsider (I imagine it wouldn’t be the same if the woman in question was lovely)

I personally never liked beeji from the start. She’s a two faced cow who’s only after what she can get for herself (I think the kids took up after her). I used to think Dadu was sensible and liked him till he disowned mini cos of a stupid surname!

They will always side with their son no matter what he does. He’s their son after all

Both mother daughter have had their crosses to bear. They also said mini received taunts. It’s just one of those cases where they’ve been dealt a bad hand from life. The show is about 2nd chances tho, even after being dealt a bad hand, so the writers should really show it in a better way. We don’t expect all happy all the time ofc, but what we’ve seen so far makes one think 2nd marriage for women is a bad idea

Until you dont stand up for yourself nobody does. A lot of women suffer abusive relationships coz they have nowhere to go. Parents support isnt there plus they arent financially not independent.thats y i always feel a women should only marry once she is financially stable.

Beeji -she did support babita but khoon toh khoon hai.

Everyone doesnt get second chance so when you get you must make most of it.

bold: What gets me is even after learning the hard way about how being dependant on a man financially can do when the man no longer wants you, babita is so ready to give up the business - about a month into the new marriage.

She’s not even thought of how even after 17 years she had no security that she’s just ready to give it all up again.

Something tells me if it weren’t for mini, babita would have been only too happy living in khurana house WITH ashok and meeta

Pb used to be my fav. Serial and hanuman’s Character was best. They have made both Babita snd hanuman as villains and mini as sufferer. Mini has done so much for Babita at her tender age and being strong support for her and now at her beautiful age she has to take garbage from both the parents. Hate this story now. Hope they change for better otherwise not interested in this sadly 😢
