The problem with Babita is that she is STILL way too invested in log kya kahenge. This is why she got so hung up on being called "selfish". Just look at when she was talking to HS. She linked selfish and bad together because that's how she associated selfishness. It's bad to want something for yourself. She's going into the mentality that it was wrong for her to stand up for herself and that it was indeed all her fault.

I hope I'm proven wrong tomorrow but if not, then whatever little progress she had made will be thrown out the window.

But Minni needs to. Learn to. Mind her language though she was right that Babita was behaving a bit selfish but yes it's her take to the situation and Minni explained her take as well and Babita did understand it... But the word selfish should not be used yaar... That too when u r speaking to ur mother...

completely agree that babita was not wrong at lashing out at them. What mini was trying to tell her is that suddenly not caring about them or not wanting her to care about them was wrong. also she was equally wrong in blaming them completely about what she went through. Also what mini wanted was babita to accept to a cordial relation with them as they were not her enemies. she also bought in how pinku too did not think of her and insulted her yet she forgave him. She did not tell that her outburst was wrong.

she did not call babita selfish though she said she was coming across as selfish. And with babita - Mini babita has always needed mothering so mini speaking harshly to her has not been uncommon. And secondly babita asking not to accompany daadu beeji to the hospital was very selfish we need to accept that. Out of humanity even neighbors would do that to an old couple.

But that dosent mean babita goes and says sorry for her outburst accepting she was wrong to speak her mind like that and ask them to come & stay with her. instead she should have had a mature talk with them regarding how she was hurt but yet she still cared and loved them & wanted to maintain a good relation with them specially because of mini. How are they even supposed to understand where they went wrong if she goes and just says sorry.

I'm exactly thinking about this.

Babita spat out venom due all those frustrated years - right

Babita blaming them alone for her miseries - wrong

Babita thinking that she was selfish to speak up for herself - wrong

Babita reconciling with them for peace, Mini And courtsey - right

There is way too much intricacy involved.

But the way she said that it was wrong to only think about her miseries and placing them first, I have hopes of this being handled properly. I hope HS makes her realise that it's not wrong to speak up for yourself but wrong to only think about yourself first.

The way Naaem Bi collapsed when she said Irfan just wanted an aaya for Imu, not an Ammi. 😭

I was thrown back to Jean's post at this moment, that NB will go through so much hurt. Felt so so bad! Even bad on thinking how hurt HS will be to find her like that. I really want HS to have a talk with her SOON.

That’s what happened in her previous marriage too. Ppl always manipulated her emotionally and for their love she put herself on fire to keep them warm. And what happened in the end, they said you were a pushover so that’s why all of this happened to you. Now also, she took a stand for herself and for her mental health. And she put forward decent options for their care too but bcz hanuman and mini think otherwise yeah firse unki batton mein aa rahi hai. Everyone will blame her at the end yaar. She really needs to put her foot down hard and with logic. She has to think about herself first.

Babita never thinks things through with a calm and rational manner. She gets wayyy too caught up in her emotions and then starts blurting out whatever comes to her mind.

Even today, when HS came in, he was asking about why Minnie was disturbed but Babita apni baat ki lekar bhet gayi. Granted, it was bothering her a lot, but she just blurted that she was bad and selfish and was seeking validation from him that she was right in her thinking. For a moment, I had thought HS would roll his eyes thinking they had been over this. 😆 But it's good that he pointed out that Minnie wasn't right to call her selfish.

Minnie's anger is getting out of hand. She needs to get a hold of that before she gets into some serious trouble.

Yes, she had snapped and said a lot of harsh things, and her intention may not have been to hurt the Khuranas, but there's no delicate way of putting across how they wronged her.

Babita was right to call them out and feel whatever it was that she felt. Hurt, angry, irritated, annoyed - jo bhi. But to be called selfish for feeling all those things is wrong.

mini dint call her selfish for lashing out at them. she called her selfish for not wanting to bother what they are going through & specially for stopping her going to the hospital with them. Now that anyone would do out of humanity so babita was being selfish there.

But no babita failed to understand the whole point she is on a guilt trip for hurting khuranas so basically she is again bothered about her image of being a good person & not hurting people. instead of having a mature talk with them she is out to literally fall at their feet and get them home
