This was such an adorable scene....I loved those scenes of initial bonding between HS and Daadu as HS assured him about how strong mother daughter are and how they will emerge from everything:)

The way HS touched his feet the first time and said it reminded him of his own daadu was awww :)

Ab to usne khud hi senior citizen ko god le liya.

I reached around the Holi epis in my rewatch......a lot of scenes feel ironic in light of current epis.....lol so I dunno if direct parallels will be drawn again.

In the lead up to playing Holi, there is a whole long dialogue from Babita about how she can't dictate which other equations Mini has in her life....that they are all together out of CHOICE....not any majboori......I wonder what present Babita would think of Holi epi waali Babita😆

The "aayo re Sakhi" song sequence was so beautiful.....all these characters happily rejoicing in the colors....no strings attached, just glorying in the colors of life.....the thought was so lovely and so progressive for that point in the story.

And then in the next episode, HS talking to Babita about shedding those shackles for the sake of her daughter and her daughter's daughter....for them to be able to feel confident and safe in playing Holi rather than letting men intimidate them.....he used to assertively give food for thought to Babita.....and her expressions while listening used to show some comprehension ability....lol now if he gives her gyaan, it's like a diluted, hesitant version and in response, she mostly looks blank so you can't tell if it made any difference......lol.....I'm not sure why that earlier dynamic couldn't still be carried through even if they got married.

Ah well. lol

This is one of the most adorable rambling compliments HS has ever given to Mini....itna pyara scene tha....there was a sheen of emotional tears in his eyes by the end when he gets to describing her like a Noor.....aww

That was a iconic scene.... Mini winning and touching his feet for ashirwad and thanking him....

Ab toh lagta hai both writers and intention of PB has changed😔

Yes they were lovely scenes!!! I always love it when he calls Dadu as Senior Citizen, cracks me up everytime 😆
